I am first time grower, I am currently 20 days into my Auto flower grow since sprout. I am going to post weekly updates and everything I do in the grow. I plan to post all the way through to dry weight.
My equipment:
2ftx2ftx48in tent
VIPARSPECTRA 300w LED (136w actual draw)
3 gallon Smart Pot bag
Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil
General Organics GO Box Starter Kit
PH Test Kit, PH Up/Down
4in 100CFM Duct fan (Blowing out)
Small USB 4in fan inside tent
Appliance Timer (Running 18/6)
I grew for the first 10 days under 60watt CFL just inches from the plant because the LED seemed to be too much for my seedling, as she seemed stressed by it. My tent is only 48in height and I couldn't seem to get the light far enough away. I used NO nutrients until day 19 and used about 1/4 of the recommended dose. I water about once every 3 to 4 days when the soil is dry up to about my first knuckle. Its a 3 gallon pot so I water about a gallon each watering, and always till I get a solid run off from the bottom. I did not PH my water until about 2 weeks into the grow. I also used straight tap water. It tests about 7.8 without treatment. So a bit high. I also do not plan to PH my water while feeding with General Organics GO Box Starter Kit because It says I don't need to. Although I read a lot of people say they still do.
I will post lots of pictures. I do have all my photos in the gallery of this grow and nothing more. I can not for the life of me, figure out how to post pictures on this thread (In fact its easier to grow pot than it is to post pictures on here.) I will be back with more on this grow shortly. As of now she is thriving green, no colors, burns, curls, or other problems and as been taking to her first feeding (yesterday) just fine.
