So here we go again.
All lights used will be @marshydro and i have also added mars fans.
We will be testing these lights right this time around.
I have two DNA chocolope clones from the same mother.
And a DOS-SI-DO clone

The plan

We have the two mars lights
FC3000 and FCE3000.
I will put one chocolope clone under each light.
And the dos-si in the middle.
So we should see the clones grown under there own lights.
And see the progress and difference if any of how they react.
Under the two different lights.
The dos-si will be half under one and half under the other.
Again to show any difference in the two lights.
think this will give the best example if there is any big difference in growth.
Under the two lights as many tend to learn towards the samsung chips in the FC models.
After one grow i dont see no noticeable differences but im sure if there are any.
Someone will spot it on here.

The strains

TH chocolope X2
TH DOS-SI-SO

The grow space

160/60/200
FC3000
FCE3000
Marshydro 6 inch fan with themo outtake
6 inch rino carbon flitter
6 inch intake fan with controller
3 clip on fans.

The nutes/medium/pots

Shogun A/B
Shogun boost
Shogun calmag
Shogun silicon
DIY drip system
16l fabric pots

I have upgraded my fan system and run @mardhydro fans now.
The 4 ich one works great in my other space.
The 6 inch one in here not so good.
Wont change from F to C.
Also wont let me set a max temp.
Not major things but not being able to set the max temp really gets annoying.
Apart from that pretty happy with the fans for the money paid.

OK tags sorry if i left anyone out who might like this one ALL are welcome....

Looks like a nice setup. I'm interested to see if there is a noticeable difference in the lights.

Cheers for the tag @Skunksta
Fekin A setup mate, plants are loving it
I'm due to upgrade some kit, so I'll be interested to see any difference in the lamps
Not bad fans for the money if im honest if your in the market for one.
And the lights mate i would love to say the FC3000 is better.
As i paid for that one but in the short term both have given sim results.
Maybe in time the samsung chips may last longer and show less results
of aging and stay nice and bright who knows at this point.
But right now after 3 grows with the FC3000 and 1 with the FCE-3000
nothing in it save some money and buy the FCE is my advice to anyone
But that may well change.

Looks good.
Thanks for the tag!! Absolutely beautiful set up!! The fan looks awesome, I haven't seen that style from Mars but I'm definitely intrigued.
Nice to see you guys been busy hence the journal just starting.
Will be nice what the fan can do and give lights another run out.
Thankd for dropping in. ;)

The one thing I've noticed about grow lights in general is that the ones that put off more Red seem to do a better job than the bright white lights. I know all the Mars TS series lights have that red. I'm not sure if they use the same diodes in their Bar Lights though. The TS series lights are still my favorite of all lights. I haven't had the opportunity to try out an FC4800 & I don't know anyone who has one so I can check it out, so for now I'll just keep using the TS lights. I'd sure like to see the color of light the FC4800 puts out though.
Too bad you don't have a TSW2000 so you could do a 3 way comparison. I think the TSW would win.
Plants are looking mighty fine. Nice work !

Hi BB - funny, I spent some time looking into exactly this
The output spectrum of TS is very close to a horticultural HPS, so again you have the reds in abundance, plus lots of yellow & green tho, so a fair bit of brightness to us, but useless light for the plant
I find supplemental blue gives tighter nugs that appear more frosty
My TS is pretty much a back light now
My light curve is more like a half-pipe now

*edit was bad grammar and I'm pedantic*

I don't know about all that. What I do know is the TSW2000's I had out did a Phlizon 800 watt bar light, a Medic Grow 720 watt bar light, All my Viparspectra's & even my P900's. I got all my biggest plants & best yields with the TSW 2000's.
5 years of trying all kinds of lights. I don't think there's a better bang for your buck. I've become a Mars fan & really not interested in anybody else's lights. Before too long I plan to be running nothing but Mars lights again. They do the job & make me happy so that's what counts for me.

I looked at the specs on the TSW 2000. There are no Red or Green Diodes. Yes, it's in the wavelength just like in other lights.

Cool, thanks
Just seems to me if you look at 470-600nm, it's not doing much for the plant, but these charts are deceptive ;)
Most of the best lamps I've seen recently look more blue, rather than a yellow hue

I think the Warm White Diodes is what seems to be the Yellow. Just my thought of course. Haven't really looked into it.
Now you got me curious.... dammit.... lol. I'll have to check out what the yellow & green spectrum of light does for a plant. Hopefully I find a Bruce Bugby video on it.

Never owned any other lights from mars.
But i can say i have tested alot vs that other company.
And cant honestly say the extra money paid for my mars lights.
Transfers into alot more bud pound per watt.
I feel more warm white than yellow on my lights.
For me heat is an issue so when i got the bar lights temps dropped alot.
Even enough to manage two bar lights in my space.
Both drivers are on top of my tent on a wooden platform.
At this point both have been great lights.
The FCE3000 driver gets hotter than the FC3000 not much but a few C.
FC3000 middle two bars get hotter than the FCE3000 (spacing?)
The spacing on my FCE3000 is set unlike the new ones.
Im not a fan of the big space in the middle.
My ladies take longer to climatize after the move from my clones tent under the FCE.
I have never got under 1.2g per watt of a grow with these lights.
My best was around 1.8 per watt.
With the right strains i could get over the 2g easy i feel.
But i agree with the price drops and the other company standing firm
on there prices now the TSW 2000 gets the node "bang for buck" from me.
But as i have never owned one cant speak on results but i can with the other
company and i was NEVER disappointed.

Thats what i have noticed :);)

So its trim day and flip to 12/12 here is older pic and my fan controller. Will give some before and after of the ladies today. This pic is from 1 week ago as you can see the dos-si was not happy and due to training but looks fine now as you can see from the pic above.
