Please help me with my seeds

I got the ww seeds and I want to start the garden. now should I put the four seeds on a wet paper tower and should the paper towel be in a dark place or what. I never did this before and any help would be great thanks..

Get the paper towel damp after folding in 2-3 times, then place the seeds between the last fold and put them on a plate or somthing in a dark place. make sure it stays damp, not wet, and open it each day for a second to let in some fresh air. Should only take 2 days or so.

The seeds are in a paper towel but at the morning when I went to check it the towel was dry but I got it wet again can this affect the seeds any how if the towel got dry ....
