The Southern Regional Police Department received a tip from a Conestoga Township citizen on September 19, that there may be marijuana growing in a field among planted corn.

The Lancaster County Drug Task Force and the Southern Regional Police Department went to the field at Stoney Lane and Stehman Road in Conestoga Township. There they began to search a 50 acre plot. They located three separate areas where marijuana was planted among the corn. The marijuana stocks ranged in height from four feet to six feet tall.

The marijuana was properly cultivated and pollinated, which, according to Det. John Ator with the Drug Task Force, indicate that someone knew how to cross pollinate the male and female plants to produce the buds. The buds were the size of chestnuts. Cross pollination raises the THC - tetrahydrocannabinol - level of potency. A total of 76 marijuana plants were harvested, having a street value ranging from $100,000 to $150,000. Each plant was capable of producing approximately one to one and a half pounds of marijuana.

lol, this article is great. Saving this one.

I bet the corn was grown over an old hemp field, a few poked through and the police thought they could make it look like they ere doing something useful with our tax dollars.

Gotta love the propaganda machine.

It's actually unfortunate they're so friggin' dumb, after all they still do protect us to some degree. I sure wish cops hadda pass an IQ test to hire on...:cheesygrinsmiley::peace:
