Police investigate Reported Robbery At Medical Marijuana Dispenary

Two employees at a medical marijuana dispensary reported they were tied up and robbed by two gun-wielding masked men.

Police are investigating the incident that took place around 9:30 p.m. Thursday at HydroWorld, 4719 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., said Lansing police Lt. Noel Garcia. He said the men took an undisclosed amount of marijuana and cash before driving off.

One employee was able to break free and got a description of the get-away vehicle and its license plate, he said. Police found the blue Chevrolet Astro van about a half hour later driving in the 700 block of Samantha Street.

The occupants were released pending further investigation, because it was not clear whether they were involved in the robbery, Garcia said.
