Ok so an update with pics this time..RH was at 96% when i opened the closet this morning :lot-o-toke: not good! it's now down to about 76% but i'm definitely gonna have to pick her earlier than i wanted to due to this damn humidity,, hasn't been under 75% in the past week.

anyways, bud porn time! :) Day 66

this sunday will be the last day of lights for Madison. Yesterday lights out was at 9:45pm for her. Tonight the lights go out at 8:45pm, tomorrow at 8:00pm, and then on sunday 7:30pm. Lights will continue to go on the same time each day, at 12:00 noon.

:thanks: I think she's just about ready as well..still don't have a microscope, but i think i'm just gonna go by the pistils colour. about half are dark orange, and most of the white pistils are starting to fully mature and go dark too, so she's just about there..a few more days :smokin: then down she comes :tokin: tomorrow night will most likely be lights out for good. RH at lights on today was 62%. :peacetwo:

she looks ready to me zb. good job. turn the lights out and leave the door open just a bit. don't worry the the indirect light won't hurt her. i don't do the dark flush,i just pull them but thats just me. for you own experience i suggest cutting off one of the lower branches and comparing that smoke to your final product(harvest). i didn't notice any difference when i did it years ago. great job with your cfls man ,with what you have learned your next grow will be awesome.:bravo::popcorn:

I was considering going the full ten weeks now that the humidity has broke and finally settled at around 56-60%, but i just got news that my only current resource is going on vacation for 2 weeks, and is leaving Monday. :lot-o-toke: Keeping that in mind, i think Madison will be getting chopped tomorrow night :) :cheer: Pics will be posted :peacetwo:

Thanks for the suggestion cowboy, i think i will try that. I'll pull one of the smaller branches tonight and see if there's a difference between that and the final harvest. As for the dark flush, i've read many threads on this site and alot have people have been doing it, and it seems rather logical; When a plant thinks it's dieing it's tries as hard as it can to reproduce, and puts everything it has into trying to reproduce. When a female cannabis plant reproduces it creates trichomes which in turn have thc. This is what i have gathered anyways so that's why i'll be doing at least 24 hrs of darkness before i pull her. Please correct me if i'm wrong anyone,, but doesn't stressing her out a bit before harvest also increase trich production? lol i don't really know, i need to go read up on some threads again :reading420magazine: thanks again for your advice :peace:

It's interesting how different people do different pre harvest flushes. My nephew does a 7-10 day medium flush and does nothing with the lights. His product is always smooth.
I will also look into the dark flush. I'm interested in increased trich production :)

How do you plan to cover the smell of your harvest? or is this something you're not concerned about.

Ok first off for the smoke report, i quick dried a few of the popcorn buds from the one branch i pulled last night in the oven at 190C. for 2 minutes,, seems to be the best way that i have sought out. the smoke was really harsh, and it still had that green taste to it, but man did i get a nice buzz :) One bowl and I was done, ready for bed :cool: Really pungent smelling, and has a nice green fruity taste to it, but i can't put my finger on exactly what it tastes like. Once the bud is dried and cured properly it will be the most amazing appetizer :rollit:

Oh, and I'm not concerned with the smell at all really, I would love my place stinking up from Madison! :smokin:
