Prescription Blend Nutrients: Discussion, Pics & Test Growers Wanted

Mix them into water as you go. Never mix together right out of the container. I have a big pickle jar I fill with a gallon and a half of water. I measure each nutrient part and then pitch it into the water. Once I get them all measured in this fashion I dump the pickle jar into my reservoir.

You know not to use pH up or down at full strength too, right? It'll rip nutrients out of the solution. Dilute it down first.
I mix 50 gal at a time one two ml doesn't hurt, but dwc 5 gal buckets I didn't for a long time. But again I only put a drop at a time never had issues but I know exactly what your talking about can cause them to fall out of soultion. I used to take a second bucket full with about 3-3.5 g is bottom of net and toss a stone in it and let the air mix by time I've mixed second part it's alrdy stable.

Well than let me keep this as short and simple as possible.

@Prescription Blend was generous enough to sponsor the 420 Comparison Grow. And, sent me a nutrient pack upon request.

I haven't received the seeds to start the grow yet. But, have received the nutrients.

My current grow was doing great untill transition to flower.

Now understand...the nutrients that I have been using for years is what I was using on these two throughout veg and into flower.
But, I haven't used this brand in about a year.

Within a week of transition. Manganese deficiency was showing bad! Treated with epsom........ Calcium def next....Treat..... Nitrogen def......?.....Treat... Leaves yellowing, lifeless, dropping by the dozen every day.
Cal def has progressed but, has slowed down.

Pictures (not very good reference pictures) are a week apart leaves continue too yellow with hooking. A dozen plus dropping off every day
Now I believe they are experiencing Potassium Toxicity????
Nutrient lockout?
With limited time and resources. I flushed both reservoirs and refilled with @Prescription Blend Nutrients.
Less than 2 weeks.....I am impressed!
Hasn't dropped a leaf in days. All leaves have turned green as they can get.
Everyone of these leaves that have rust spots on them were yellow...

Peace, :green_heart:

Hey RX Blend, I'm using your line in coco for the GSC comparative grow, and I have a question do suggest mixing daily or does it hold up in a reservoir? I'm currently doing two soil and 3 coco but I like to incorporate microbe compost tea and Hi Brix into my regiment. How would you suggest I add it in with your nutrients in this medium? Usually in coco I feed daily with every watering some lines do a feed feed water and start over. Or if anyone has any input plz I'm all ears to hear what's worked for you.
You do NOT need to mix nutrient every day! If you keep your tank aerated then you can keep the nutrient solution for much longer (1-2 weeks). The best way to do this is with a small aquarium air pump and bubble stone.

With Coco media its best to feed nutrient every time with some run off (10-15% is ideal). It's great that your going to add microbe tea, do you brew your tea with the Brix product or add that separately? Either way would work but brewing the tea with the sugar source will help the microbes grow faster. When your adding this to the garden you can substitute your nutrient feed for tea or give them some of both. If you alternate feed/tea I would recommend three feedings and then a tea application (feed, feed ,feed, tea - repeat).

I'm going to post this reply in our discussion thread for other readers to see as well.

Dang dude those girls climbed I didnt go dwc this go with the prescription blend after seeing yours I feel maybe I should have in did u follow feed schedule to the T? Mine are doing great well balanced nutrient line I haven't flowered yet, but mine seem to be on the lighter side maybe lacking in Nitrogen. But I haven't started true grow just popped 5 seeds made 2 moms one is RX blend and mainline 2 once clones catch up I'll move to final pots and let them flip. See how feed schedules handles some powerful lamps and Co2.

Some of the other growers in the comparative found the GSC feeds heavy and used 12ml/Gal of each Core A and Core B growing in peat/coco. For DWC this is most likely not needed but if yours are on full strength veg feed and looking light you might consider going up a little as I said to 12ml/Gal. Generally from what I have seen in a lot of the comp grows is some lighter colored foliage using different nutrients which supports the idea of this strain liking heavy feeding.

@XiwsX561 hope your situation has improved for your grow.
I agree with Matthew's above stated. That these GSC can have a heavier feed requirement based on grow style and medium used.
I noticed that during the transition phase into flower new growth was coming in on the yellow side of light green. So I have increased "Core A &B" for those plants to 12ml per gallon of nutrients.
All I can say is "Thank you @Prescription Blend for making it easy to grow healthy plants".

I hate to see this thread come to an end suddenly. I have become a fan of @Prescription Blend Nutrients and recently started a plant which I will be feeding the PBN leftover from the comparative grow. This plant is a cross of an extremely nice Cookies n Chem "father" with a really potent and vigorous growing Killer A5 Haze female. The male here was a reversal thus creating feminized photo seeds.

This plant has been fed twice so far with the Prescription Blend nutrients and she is loving it. In this photo taken today she is at sprout +13 days old. I am vegging her in a 3 gallon fabric pot and will either flower her in this pot or possibly up-pot her into a 5 gallon pot. Reason for the small pots is she has only a 2x2 x 4' tent in which to grow so I have to keep her small.

For me this is a LOT of plant for just 13 days old.

I wanted to drop in here and offer a Congratulations to @Prescription Blend Nutrients for their shared win in the August Plant of the Month contest. Their nutrients played a HUGE role in producing this plant I was lucky enough to grow. Thanks again Matthew for the customer support and for the top quality nutrients you provided.
