Problem with bushy plant

it's my first time plant and i'm having some problems with my plant, and i need to cut some branches before it flowers to get some sun, is it safe?

Growers cut branches off of vegetating plants for clones all the time so it should be safe. Pictures of your plant along with more specific information regarding your grow would help us to understand more about the problems you are experiencing. Another option is you could bend the branches over n tie them down. LST (low stress training).... Enjoy the journey n have fun with it
