ProfessorFlora's 10 Strain 200W LED Organic Soil Grow

Hey 420. Quick recap followed by some updates later on today. The harvests are both complete and I have the final weights. I'll go into them both in more detail in an update shortly but lets just say that the 400w LED soil grow won hands down against the 600w HPS hydro grow. My concern that the Hashplant D's would have a small yield came to nothing and did really well. The HPD's are just amazing. Really high quality strain. My only beef with them is that they are too sticky. I can forgive them for that though I guess.
The grow room is back up and running but I still need to do some tinkering. Not really 420 stuff. Just need to work out how to fit everything in around the tents lol. It's like grow room Tetris. I ended up getting rid of a lot of stuff like old ballasts and the old tent. I also got rid of some pots, reflectors, trays and so much more but still feel like I have the makings of a factory. The next journal will be clean and working on a budget.
Back shortly with what will be happening to the veg plants and some nug porn and harvest results

Wilma Grow Harvest Results....

Here are the final weights for the recirculating dripper grow which I was surprised that I even went along with after a not so great start....

Pineapple Express....78g
Purple Trainwreck....61g
Black Kush....59g
Fat Purple....27g

Grand Total....225g
That's the famiily sorted out for a couple months.
I was quite surprised by the Pineapple Express's victory. It looked like the Purple Trainwreck was going to do better but PE did have some solid buds. I didn't get quite as many pics of these as I would have liked but that was because everyone wanted their weed lol.
From left to right we have Black Kush, Purple Trainwreck and Pineapple Express....

Black Kush....

The one which had it bad for much of the grow. We didn't really see eye to eye much of the time. Maybe it was because I killed Mini VG and she hated me for it. Whatever the reason there was something not quite right about her. Bananas coming out of her arse was her least likeable quality. She was also like a single plant jungle and was an absolute bitch to trim up. Not really a trait I'm looking for unless its the stinkiest and tastiest bud on the planet, which its not. Its not bad though and is pretty strong and flavoursome. It was harvested early though so it wasn't at full potential. The buds were really big on the two main colas and were still growing when I harvested her....

Purple Trainwreck....

This plant grew explosively from the first few days of flower. It's a pretty little thing but the nugs were quite small. I it would be easy to trim this one but it wasn't. It took a long time as there were so many little buds all down the stem. there were a lot of stems as well because of the large amount of side branching. She has a nice smell and has kept the purple berry notes until the end. It's quite sour and smells strong. Easy plant to grow but a pain in the ass to trim....

Pineapple Express....

This plant ended up looking pretty terrible as her leaves all dried up and many died before harvest. The buds continued to grow though and were of a good size and had some weight to them. This plant has a very nice structure and not very many leaves which made harvest an absolute pleasure. It really did take about 20 minutes to harvest her as most of the leaves just fell off when you touched them. She has a tropical fruit scent with skunky notes which remind me of summer months. Even with the problems she had it was still fun to grow this one. Solid and big buds....

The Fat Purple....

The baby of the bunch who didn't recover quite as quick as the others did at the beginning so ended up be a smaller plant as a result. She's a very pretty plant though with deep colours and a very healthy amount of trichs which make her very greasy and a little bit messy to trim. I didn't even make the ounce with his one but there will be a next time. Here are some pics but be warned. The camera can't quite decide whether the pics should be in 3000k or 6000k....

Congrats on the harvests Prof!! Sorry lil HH gave you such hell. :( Musta been tough carrying on without VG mini.
Thanks HH. She did give me a bit of a rough time but other than a reduced yield (that goes for all of these) things turned out ok
Great harvests Professor! Your buds are always special to see. :bravo:
The sun is out today so I'm going to try for some outside pics. Next up we have the Hashplants :)
Congratulations on the harvest it all looks really good
Thanks Mushie. Hopefully I can show you the frosty plants next

And this is the kind of hash you get from it. This is from the rough trim and that ball is finger hash collected from just 2 plants. Lovely stuff....

Hashplant D Harvest Results....

The HPD's are in the Jars and have begun the cure. The Numbers are as follows....

HPD #2....60g
HPD #3....55g
HPD #4....49g
HPD #5....35g
HPD #6....57g
HPD #7....44g
HPD #8....41g

Grand Total....341g
I'm more than happy with that. I think I could have easily fit one more plant in with those and pushed that number up a bit more. With the next grow in this tent that's what we will be trying to do. Here are some quick pics for now. I'll post some pics of the individual pheno's shortly....

Hey VG. I'm all good. Been really busy with just about everything but other then that things are cool.
I don't think I could even get hash where I live. its not been popular for a while now. It was all the rage when was a teen though. The quality was really hit or miss and more often than not it was a miss. This stuff is lovely and not a hot rock in sight. I like to just sprinkle a bit into a joint for an extra kick. Its like a little flavour and power enhancer lol.
Thanks VG. Hope things are well for you too

Gonna be a helluva head stash.
I've got a mother to run now so if all goes well I'll be smoking on this for a while yet. I want to get another pack of Bodhi seeds but there's so many interesting choices. Do you know anything about the Wookie strain? They use that in quite a few crosses
