Promix help

This year i wanna do some outdoor using promix. I figure get a few bails and mix in some organics. What are some good mixes and recipes? Ive never used this before, and the ground around isnt that good and i dont wanna go dumpin tons of expensive ffof everywhere lol.. Ive familiar with fox farm and advanced nutes n have done pretty dam good with them. But any recipes or links are greatly appriciated.. Thanks in advance

2 things you need with promix are dolomite lime and perlite. The lime is a must.

AFA the other amendments, google LC's Soiless mix, or Subcool's Super Soil for some ideas on amounts and ingredients.

Thanks will do.. Do you know how much lime id use per bail?

I use 1cup/CuFt of mix.

The 3.8CuFt bale of ProMix expands to close to 7CuFt, so I would use at least 6 cups/bale.

I saw a mix called moonshine mix using a bunch of fox farm.. You get like 45 gallons for like $120.. Seems like a better bang for the buck??

That comes out to 6CuFt, or a bit less than a bale of ProMix. There is ~7.5 gallons in a CuFt.
