The straw Makes a nice straw sized opening so you get great puffs. But as you said since it is so compact it tends to go out in the beginning a bit till properly cherries then it’s pretty good burning from there. Idk I used an electric range to light mine kinda like a car cigar lighter I guess.
When the cherry burns out and it’s looking a little funny cut the burnt tip off and relight was what I was doing and it was working.
