Purple and Rust Spots

I switched my soil from what was working great to something new and now I have problems. I'm just about 4 weeks into my grow. She is an auto and is in early flowering. I am spotting purple leaves starting at the bottom. It working its was up quickly. I also have rust spots on my leaves. They are about 1/8inch in size. My water is R.O water. Gave her 1/2 strength Lucas w/GH couple days ago. I am guessing phosphorus deficiency because of the purple, but then the rust spots too? All help appreciated.

its does look like phosphorus deficiency, im not long at growing so i am hoping you get the correct answer , the spots look like the plant has been splashed , did you hit the plant when feeding ? also looks over watered ............. at least this bumps you post up

I'm with paddy on this one and possibly magnesium deficiency. Do u have the full series of the gh? Do u use cal/mag

Phosphorus. You might check PH if it's not going through the roof or other way round.

I do have the full series and some Epsom salt for MG. Never added any MG. At next watering I could mix a tsp of Epsom with 3 gallons of water. I will also watch how often I water them. I hand water with a cup, so it is defiantly possible I splashed them, but just wired because I never had that issue before. Should I venture away from Lucas to get the phosphorus under control (follow the direction on the bottle), or should I add a supplement? And Check my Run off ph. Thanks guys. Hope to figure this out quickly.

if u had something that was working great then why change it? if it isnt broke dont fix it thats been a old saying for a long time

Thanks everyone. I flushed tell the run off was between 6-6.5 because that's all they would go after about 50 gallons of water. After I gave them a mild 1/3 strength of Lucas Ratio.

I tried the Lucas as well and ended up with similar issues, I went back to the 3 part system and no longer have any issues. I also added Armour Si from GH.

Maybe try some Cal-Mag? I've had plants with similar issues and found that the plant grew out of it after it's 6th/7th node, it was only the first 1/2 nodes that were effected. Although I never found the cause or the cure, if anyone does know it would be highly valued information

Haha very funny. I did name the whole batch BCLF #4. ItsTimmyMan I started to see the purple lightly show on 8/16 on the bottom of a few plants. I believe burn/rust spots are my nutrients splashed on.
