Purple stem?

I am growing 2 different strains, 1 Big Bud and one mystery Sativa/Indica mix.

On one plant of each strain the stem has gone purple. The plants look very healthy but it is just strange that only 2 plants from 15 look like this.

The plants are only 4 days old from seed, grown in soil.

Any Ideas?

i read its quite common and normal, dont remember why some are purple though

I get the same exact thing. They will be the healthiest looking grows too. Im sure we'll find out why that is shortly but it is an interesting occurrence. I have 2 plants in the same pot and one is purple stem and one is white..?

Yes your fine im in 6 weeks flowering and there still purple since they where in veg.

same here i got 4 plants and 1 of them (trainwreck) has a purple stem

Purple stems are very natural my healthy white widows have a purple tinge to the stems

I too have one plant out of six with a purple stalk and the branches are purple about halfway up the branch. The strain is a blueberry indica

to me purple stems are normal i've had some killer plants with purple stems.. usually they're purple through seedling stage them start turning brownish during veg.. but some of mine stayed purple til harvest ... nothing to worry about at all
