This girl is getting prettier by the day!

So lights don’t go on for a while but can’t wait until they do. I say this because for the last three days we’ve had higher than normal temperature and I’ve had 28-30 degrees in the grow room and tent. I have the room my tent is in, darkened, ceiling fan and oscillating fan going and lights are out until 7pm in the tent. Today the heat broke and now have nice and cool 20-22 degrees in the grow room, the cooler temperatures are very welcome and sure she’s liking it as well!

Well lights are on, day 40 and believe she enjoyed the cooler night!

So here we are at week 6 since flipping to 12/12 and she looks great. I’m thinking she still has a ways to go judging by how many white hairs I’m still seeing? As mentioned the strain is suppose to be an eight week flower, meaning I should be done in two weeks but will see closer to finish. I’ve also decided on having her finish in 36 hrs of darkness and not flushing. Haha didn’t notice I added a pic of my wifey’s show cats (Short Hair Oriental’s) so I’ll leave it in, so from left to right it’s Flynn, Miya and Marlie, say heeeyyyyy girls...and boy!!!

So day 44, coming along nicely, really excited and curious as to what she’ll look like in another 12-14 days. I know she’s getting close as the wifey is telling me she’s smelling her at the bottom of the stairs, followed by her saying “ but I guess that’s a good thing” lol. She is most definitely right about that!!!

So day 47, hoping these look ok for going on 7weeks since flipping to 12/12. I think she’s got at least 2 more weeks even if Breeder says an 8 week flower. I’m basing this as of right now on the amount of white pistols I’m seeing? Here she is today!

I also tried getting some trichome pics but proving to be tough. I have a tri-pod, using iPhone with jewellers loupe taped to it (works well as have done before) so will try again later. Did just look through loupe and still clear, very few milky which is what I expected.

So today is 7 weeks into flower or since flipping lights however you want to look at it, lol. Got thinking about the whole flush or not debate as I am at that point or very close I believe. Will see her in 4hrs when the lights come on. Came across an article or just a guy who question’s the whole flushing thing and it kinda cements my no flush is the way to go! To say flush to rid of having a chemical taste or harsher taste etc. makes no sense! It’s said you allow the plant to use up store nutrients within itself by flushing??? So if I flush which is flushing the soil not the plant, and the plant still has nutrients within, how is it that you’ll have cleaner less harsh smooth bud... it’s getting nutrients until the end either way and should not make any difference! Now my question is can I lower the amount of nutrients I have used throughout so the plant uses stored nutrients within to make up for the lesser nutrients, kinda think it would make sense but I could be completely wrong, lol. Please let me know what one thinks on this! Will have pics later, happy smoking!

Hello @steelcurtain22 fantastic garden.
As bud love mentioned i cut out nitrogen completely by now.
But I find that my girls respond better by dropping ppms in late flower.
I see alot of white pistols on yours so you may need longer to finish than your schedule.
I feed light nutrients right up to the time I turn my lights out.
There is lots of debate on flushing, not my preference but its still done by many.
Cut nitrogen completely and drop your ppms till the end is my method.
I'm in coco so it's a different process than soil.
As you mentioned washing the soil under her won't clean your buds my opinion also.
Keep up the great work.

Hey Bill, thx, only a one plant garden but has gone well! Yeah I feel I’m going longer then 8 weeks, thinking more like 9/10? I believe it just comes down to preference. As I mentioned to bud love I’m gonna stay the course with keeping my feeding the same, see how it turns out. I flushed with my last grow, also my first grow ever but not relying on that as it was just that...a first grow! Lol. Thanks for giving some input, very much appreciated, happy smoking!

So lights are on and got a few pics, colours are slowly starting to show, still aways to go. Keeping an eye on the trichomes going forward, tried to take some pics. I know I can get decent view between my phone and jewellers loupes but under what lighting is best. The pic I have here shows amber on sugar leaf but below it seems to show either clear or cloudy. Now I don’t know if under the lights as they are matters or not, any help would be appreciated!

Day 51, just a few pics, not much change, looking good still, checked trichomes in few spots and clear but a lot cloudy no amber, not a surprise, ways to go still.
