Hello All,

I a'm Davano and i a'm thinking about starting my own grow.
I would like to grow under a led light, but there really expensive.
Now i saw this on youtube: 96w DIY LED Grow Light - How to build it for $57 - YouTube and have some questions about it.
First and for-most: wil spot leds like that work ?
Second: is a led with 2700K to 3300K a full spectrum led ?
third: If they work how big could i let the plant grow ?

I a'm planning to grow in 1 1mx1m tent.
If i use 20 12w spots would that cover 1 square meter ?
I do plan to add some 270 degrees leds when the plants have grow a bit, so that i could hang the 270 degrees leds between the plants.

They do work, however you need 300 Watts or more of 'warm white' to get really good results in the bud stage.
The cost of so many bulbs works out to be around the same if not more than, buying an average grow light.

Thanks for the reply.

What growlight do you mean? most light i saw in the low price range only cover a 2x2 area so then i would need two of them.

Search eBay for: 1200w LED grow light .. or .. 1000w LED grow light.
Stay away from the RoyalLED and Grow bloom champion as the specs are not as advertised.

The 1200w and 1000w are very good for 1.2m space. A 900w is good for a 1m space.
I bid on ones that go to auction, so some bargains can be found.
