Question for those that weigh their pots to water

Okay so I have a solo cup full of FF Happy Frog, and it's bone dry and weighs 133 grams. I take the scale I'm using and zero it to 133 grams, then I weigh my actual pots. When I water them until runoff, they all weigh about 170-180 grams.

My question is how low should I be letting that weight get before watering again? I have been waiting until they get to about 40-50 and they still seem a little over-watered but I'm kind of nervous to let them get much less than that. 40 grams of water is only 40 mL.

I weigh my pots and after watering, when they get close to the "dry weight" is when I water them again...

For example, right now I have 2 autos in 3 gallon geopots. At transplant they weighed about 11-12 pounds....after soaking and watering they weigh about 20 pounds. When they get down to 12 pounds or so, it's time to water and /or soak again...

In solo cups, I gave them about 4 oz every 48 hours to start and went from there...check out my journal and good luck!
