Quick pot size question?

I have some white widow clones in 1 gallon pots. they are 12 inches high and i started flowering them. they are in soil. will this size be enough or did i make a mistake? The reason i asked this question is beace i am getting alot of confliting answers on my other posts.

1 gallon of soil per ft of plant. ;-)

usually its 1 gallon for 1 foot of plant height..

that means that u have reached transplanting time

so get a 3 gallon pot.. wait til the soil has dryed out a bit but not too much (cause thats when its easier to transplant) and move it into a 3 gallon..
