The Strain: RQS Hulkberry
HulkBerry: The Hulk's Own Nemesis
HulkBerry is a 65% sativa-dominant strain created by crossing Strawberry Diesel and OG Kush. With a whopping 27% THC this strain is heavily advised for experienced smokers, novices may get lost in the depths of their own mind. The sativa dominance keeps the high focused solely in the brain with a clear and energetic feeling, while the resin thick nugs and fruity flavours keep your nose and taste buds occupied.

Despite the sheer strength of this strain, a standard 12-12 light cycle will have dank buds in your hands within a flowering time of 9-10 weeks. HulkBerry is a fan of SOG or ScrOG growing environments.

Thats the hype......
Where am i at ?

Welcome to this run of Royal Queen Seeds hulkberry. I grew their mother in the hope of finding my keeper strain , sadly due to having to feed her for her entire grow at full strength , due to the multi strain needs , i dont think i did her any justice .She got way too much N amd her yield and taste suffered badly. I know this strain has some excellent reviews and results so felt compelled to clone her and give them their own chance to really shine so here goes another fun run with the High thc, bruce banner #3 pheno , HULKBERRY.
Sit back relax and enjoy the ride. Plan is to supercrop then scrog them to fill the room with fat chunky buds.

Here we go for day 1
The Ladies have settled in well overnight with no signs of any issues so far. They are healthy and have lots of new growth following their transition from flowering back into vegged clones. The majority have been growing steadily in the propagater and have new limbs with new shoots forming. Only one jas stayed relatively small a d bushy looking so lets see how she mutates. I took them during the 4th week in flower as in monstercropped, i am hoping to create a bushier structure than the " head for the stars" one they create if left. The mother grew tall and thick stemmed so quickly so i need to get on these before they overpower any attempt at training them. Have been to the Gym ( looking through window) to prepare for this battle with Brucey. Here goes the next 14 weeks of " What spare time?" , buckle up folks , this could get bumpy......

Very nice set up Ganjagrandaddy
Thanks Sog001. Is a little tight for height but secluded enough from prying eyes. lol. Temps get silly so had to use Silver insulation to reflect light/heat away from pots/res. works a treat too without a chiller. Trying to max the space out with pure bud forest this time.
Welcome aboard

Update. after getting a letter Saturday about an inspection Monday ( today) to inspect our boiler and heating system for scheduled upgrade , i went into shock mode. Thank goodness i am so early into this one. I had to emergency dismatle the whole room and tent , re-arrange my attic to show no signs of use except storing crap and find a temp way to keep my girls alive without their buckets , stones and lights ( hopefully temp home sorted now !) . The guy came to survey and did not even go into the loft at all or even mention the water tank up there. all the work is in the kitchen and landing cupboard so i did it for nothing as they are also doing the work in just over a weeks time. I am relieved they are doing it sooner than i thought and i can now plan to refit everything using the same girls with a slight delay. It feels like something is going in favour for a change. lol. Fingers crossed they can last this short period in temp home. Watch this space!!

Ah man! I hope they’ll hold on and come back really well. Checked out your setup and makes more sense compared to my rdwc setup. I think this week I’m going to do a rebuild because 2 plants in my garden suck really hard!
Checkout the 2 on the left compared to the 2 on the right.

Good luck restoring the babys!!

And they still looking good!

Thankfully Peter.lol. one is slightly lighter green but she has been like this before the temp move. I have a lot of purple on the stems which could be a mag deficiency or down to shock of transplanting twice already. have to keep watch on them now till i can get them back in their real home. pain in the ass but at least i can see an end to the issue and wont have to worry about the works needed again now. I can make my room more permanent up there with the same stuff used to cover buckets to line the whole space instead of the tent back up. Have to turn the delay into a positive somehow. lol
Not to mention i have already picked and prepared my next seed order !!!!!. Want to get on with it now !!. hahahaha
hate waiting. Was hoping Barneys Farm would sponsor my next one but so far no hints have worked.lol They did sponsor my last one so cant complain really.
got to love this game :thumb::passitleft:

I am really curious how your clones will do in scrog.. i saw you already bended one of them.. how much topping are you gonna do? What’s your next seed order? :D

I followed up your advise and turned the system into topfeed, hope the two on the left will catch up if this makes the difference.
Only thing different is that my buckets are directly connected to eachother as in series. Maybe after this grow I’ll change that too if it makes any difference. Don’t freak out, theres allot of wiring going on in the tent now lol

Here some pics I took today.

amazimg roots Peter. they look thick and healthy too great work.
I am supercropping while they are in a slow mode as it wont matter too much at present. i am thinking of topping but as they are clones , i may just thread available growth stems throughout the scrog. Depends on to.e to get them happy and growing again. Have now ordered my new beans too 4x Gorilla zkittelz, 1x orange sherbet , 1x Blue Gelato 41 , 1 x Cookie Kush and a Phantom OG

In Holland all the people are talking about zkittles and gelato man, it’s like a hype and they sell it expensive in the coffeeshops here. Nice strains good choice I think

i love Gorilla Glue as a strain to smoke and saw barneys had mixed it with zkittles too so really fancied a seed or two a while back. One of the regulars i chat to has a Barneys thread running which i play on and he has a sponsored " new strains" grow going with new beans being introduced as he gets them from barneys Farm. They are all great growers genetically and being able to watch them through his thread will be very helpful with their needs. I do love Barneys Farm seeds and have had so many great plants from their strains. a few good other breeders too but for consistency, has to be Barneys.
I do have great hopes for these Hulkberry too when i can get back to work with them. Have a lot of graft to rebuild again when the work is done next week but looking forward to re designing.

Also missed to say , Air stones . If you go into my last grow amd to the soaker rings i made , there is a parts list for making them. They work brilliantly as the " soaker hose" ( meant for garden hoses to dribble water onto soil ) allows small air bubbles over the whole ring which in turn covers the whole bottom of the bucket with bubbles , creating a full bubble blanket. Air stones clog and seem to be a huge issue over cleaning them and keeping efficient them. This is why i made the rings..
They are very simple and with running two pumps , work brilliantly. You do have to seal each join made properly to avoid air leaking in wrong place and losing some power to the rings too. The list is on a delivery note in the pictures so the actual names of parts is there not me trying to explain or guess the real name of them. lol . well worth the time and effort to do

Day 11 a.d all still looking good. these plumbers need to get busy now. so need to crack on with this grow. Have new beans arriving tomorrow.lol
They are adapting the supercropping well despite the environment not being ideal. Slow growth but to be expected after their recent spell under 1200w of Mh then back to 200w fluorescent clone light. They must think they are being punished for something !!!
roll on Thursday so i can get back and build the room back up.

Plants are lookin healthy G. I am glad I don't have to put up with home inspections
They are a pain in the butt and have been a disruption so many times. near misses a few times too!!. Keeps me.on my 53 year old toes. heehee
main boiler work done so they should finish it tomorrow and i can get on with these girls. My new beans have arrived already and burning a hole in their packaging to see the world. feels like forever away right now.

Update:still in the twilight zone waiting to re enter the growing world. Ladies are in-waiting and seem to be working with me by not doing much this week. i am relieved they havent needed much with the emergency krakty rescue pods this week and am looking forward to letting them rip for their scrog adventures. Will post proper update i a day or two once set up again. Happy days
Spoiler Alert # below

next run ready and waiting in the wings

Room nearly done now and the girls are still coping in their "squat" . Not any growth going on to mention but still bending and tweaking them a little. They need to be back at their real home before any issues kick off.
