Since this hurricane Helene has dropped a lot of rain in Indiana my buds are heavy with water. we have 2 more days before the sun comes out and it's 80. I'm concerned about mold setting in? They've been wet since Friday evening and won't start to dry out for 2 more days any help appreciated. I've been cutting leaves off when I get the chance

Maybe set up a fan to get some air circulating.

Welcome to 420Magazine Eric.
Sorry about your problem.
There are products that kill bud rot/mold.
SNS or @Sierra Natural Science is one I use, great stuff.
Citric acid works aswell.
I've read some people using milk or oil also.
Lots of options.
Do you have any pics of the girls?
Talk soon.

Stay safe

Welcome to the group.

I've been cutting leaves off when I get the chance
Cutting leaves off does not get rid of the mildew or mold. By the time you see it on a leaf there is a near 100% chance it is on the rest of the plant. What I do is have a preventative program set up where I start spraying even before I see any signs of mildew.

Cutting leaves off is not the best of ideas. Better off spraying as an attempt to save every leaf you can. When the Cannabis plant starts the flowering stage it stops growing new fan leaves and concentrates on growing the buds with small fan leaves, small single blade leaves and small sugar leaves. The plant needs every large leaf it has for photosynthesis.

Hello there! Moisture and sudden warm temperature can create mold, best variant to avoid it is a very good airflow through the plant's leaves, the wind should blow not just the upper leaves or their external part but through all the area
