Red spots on stems! Help?

I've got a white widow plant in flowering looking lovely except ive noticed small red spots forming on the stems, they were very tiny so i didnt think much of it until i noticed a couple bigger spots forming, so now im a bit concerned. I havent been able to find anything similar to what i'm looking at.
Sry the image is a bit hard to see, but i hope it helps!

I have read that Redding stems can be either a Pheno of the plant, or a Phosophorus issue. Check this link and it may provide more info than I can: Common Problems With Pics
