I still get a lot of suckers that keep my needs met

Almost forgot about the PPM Guide I plan to use

Nutrient Solution PPM per Stage (Suggested)

Don't take it as gospel , its something I found online and will try it out somewhat.
Never know if the plants will like it unless they get a chance with it

Currently my base water is 125ppm micro Grow and flower are at 400 and cal mag is at 150ppm

PH down added 150ppm for a total reading of 825 ppm , a strong dose by any standard at this early stage and still not a sign of leaf tip burn (yet)

That chart is horrible, especially for your buckets. If you go "1300-1600ppm" in a bucket you'll fuck your plants so hard they'll be compost in < 24 hours. Just sayin'.

Missed lights off so the update was put off to today ..

I like that nutrient guide up to the point where it ups the ppm to over 1000

I used no higher then 850 ppm with these plants , 1000 ppm caused tip burn

750 ppm is what they seemed to like best this round.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
10 weeks 7th Day of flush using light nutrients.
Last Friday 1st day of flush
30ml 0-10-10 Kool bloom for 75 ppm increase when mixed with 23 gallons of 45 ppm water with 23 ml of dutch master Zone water conditioner the only other additive.
PH as is at 6.9
Midweek top up
20ml Astroflower
20ml Cal-Mag
20ml Micro
15ml Potassium Silica
Last top 2 Days ago
30ml Astroflower
35ml Cal-Mag
Looks like the flush will be at least 10 Days more , the Bubblegum's have begun to yellow strongly whereas both the Coco plants have *just started* to yellow.
Below are a few photos of the lower branches
Been smoking buds off the absolutely lowest branches from the above plant as pointed out in the photo
IMG_070944.JPG
IMG_071249.JPG
The Coco's bottom Shag supply is going strong despite three bud harvests
IMG_071145.JPG
Been snipping the end buds and leaving the rest to fill up , the lowest set of branches have had three sets of buds removed so far.
The Coco matured the fastest oddly so as they are sativa dominate and grew lanky as Sativas do.
Flush Smoke Report
As I have been Vaporizing Bud for a week here is the flushes affect thus far
Day 1 to 4 ~ Tasted cardboard like
Day 5 ~ first hint of good flavor was noted
Day 6 ~ Buds have officially started to develop a fruity flavor that pleases.
Day 7 lower buds have not been harvested yet I am expecting the Buds to continue developing flavor over the flush period.
ppm 150 to 200
PH 6.5
Temperature Day 75* , Night 70*
Humidity
Day 55%
Night 50% ( with dehumidifier in tent )
Light system changes
Last Tuesday
To allow for cool temperatures for an increase in terpenes both 600w cooltubes were raised up and unplugged for the duration of the flower.
The panels are spread about providing a cool atmosphere with softer light much like the fall weather does.
I think it will work well for the flush period with the reduced nutrients
Led Power Draw - 840 watt
Current PPM reading is 185 I am not going to Top up with nutrients for the rest of the flush.
They will be left to yellow out and develop their flavors instead of grown as big as possible.
That about sums it up for this weeks update
Remember keep positive and positive things will follow.
Peace :volcano-smiley:
Harvest day
Flush update as noted by Vaping Bud from the Larger Coco
Day 8 ~ Tasted nice like well flushed bud
Day 13 ~ Tasted similar to Day 8 only a little better
Day 13 smaller bubblegum , first time Vaping it
Tasted sweet smooth and flavorful / well flushed
Still have not tried the Larger bubblegum , although it and the other plants have now been Cut trimmed and hung up to dry.
The plants have been on a 48 hr light cycle for the last week
12 hrs on 36 hrs off
Flush duration ~ 15 days
Closing remarks
Remos nutrients did a fine job on my maiden dwc run along with DM Zone Sterile res.conditioner
The overkill aeration of 85 lpm from two pumps in 22 gal nutrients also helped it come together so deserves its mention.
And Completed
Thanks Spitz , your a champ for sticking it out for those 12 weeks , an outstanding 420 citizen and future Stoner haha
Something to note is the littlest bubblegum bud took up almost an entire side of the trellis although be it a smaller section , still it had a whack of Bud under its leaves out of the light and sight. Sneaky little plant might have more then 4 1/2 Oz on it.
She tastes smooth sweet and fruity
Still haven't tried the larger bubblegum out I want to wait until she is dry proper like
So far without a cure the two Coco's are tasting like two completely different strains one floral and one like coffee and chocolate
Now that the grow is completed ask any questions or make comments and suggestions , tips are always wanted.
Im *always* researching to grow bigger faster stronger plants its a quest make that an obsession.
With that said I like to help as well
In the immortal words of Abraham Lincoln ( a known stoner) there is no time like Vape time
Peace in , its vape time :volcano-smiley:
Here's a photo of the rdwc giving birth to 4 plants , its alive its a Alive !!
Well sort of its a functioning ecosystem that requires little attention especially when the plants are small like this, the nutrients will not be need to be changed for about a month.
Using 100w Chinese cobs over each plant to start them off.
IMG_085445.JPG
220w power draw
Currently making cree and citizen cobs for next round , can hardly wait to be all led
After that harvest I am hooked on Remo's and now that i know what Im doing ( it was my first try at rdwc ) going get better results yet , take it easy Remo Fans and enjoy your bounties !
They look "from seed". Do you care to share the make/model? My Bubblicious from Nirvanna was huge! I think this was my first experience of "hybrid vigor". I had 5 plants in there and she may have outperformed the entire crew. I'm not sure how related the Serious Bubblegum and Nirvanna Bubblicious are, but they both reference the same history.
Anyway, she's a very light/smoothe smoke that's very "sweet". At least that's what I'm told. I sure wish I had a "pot snob" to share with. Lol
Looking forward to the COB run from you. I'm about to fire up my Cree 2x 4x50W for 400W of Cree COBs. I can't wait to follow along... good luck!
Hey Spitz , they are from seed alright , feminized, two LA Special on the left side and two OG Kush on the right
Its looking like another runt this round , the smallest kush in the right corner is still half the size of its sister. It might turn itself around , who knows.
Im expecting good things from the bigger kush , its taken right off in the last few days.
IMG_085842.JPG
The photos are less then a week apart They are two weeks old first week in the rdwc
------------
The Bubbicious of yours was a nice one , I will have to try the strain out from that same seller , it does have the vigor
Got to like that !
OG Kush is reported to have large vigor as well Not sure about the la special It a sativa indica hybrid so it stands a good chance.
I'll be busy assembling lights this month Have 18 cree. Chips and now 10 citizen 1212 chips to mount , might buy more yet found a seller who lets them go cheap at $16
I'll keep you all nformed ! Spitz nice lights you got there. Hint to others , Timber is a small company - plug - check them out they are a sponser on the site
Just a thought... I know you have air stones in each of your buckets. Where is the runt in regards to your recirc reservoir and do you keep a airline run to the recirc res as well?
How do the temps vary in your 4 buckets? Probably just genetics, but, challenging your environment nonetheless. Peace!
The res is on the right of the Runt but the runt was put in position nearest the entrance so I can enter easy later on.
I placed the smallest seedling there last week to assume the position who knows little fucker might do alright , its there for the duration now.
I placed the Runt there last time as well.
For air each of the buckets has air and the res has the 65 lpm pump and a load of stones.
The seedlings are getting all that air despite not consuming much of it they get to enjoy a full shot of o2 with every sip of nutrients.
I had forgot to add in the Silicate so mixed up a batch diluted it Ph'ed it and added in over the course of the Day. You need to be careful messing with Silicate , it should of been mixed in the water first to avoid a lock out issue. I babied it into the mix to reduce any chance of lock out.
The Silicate is going supercharge the growth rate / stalk size and branch length. Its a good thing to use in the first few weeks when growth is slowest before the Vigor kicks in. During the Vigorous growth the Silicate fuels the plant to build healthy branches etc etc
Can you tell I like Silicate
The temperatures are steady and 100% even in all buckets and res as it recirculates itself 14 times an hour.
During lights off when the room temp drops the water temp would lower by 5 degrees then at lights on it slowly heats back up 5 degrees by lights off and repeats. So it went from 62* to a high of 67* or about there abouts
This grow as a test Im using a warmer temp by moving the air pump to slightly warmer location to maintain the temp between 66 and 68 degree night and day.
Well the Runt turned out to actually be suffering from a broken stalk , earlier when just sprouts a led panel fell on the seedlings I had thought they escaped uninjured that turned out to be false.
Last week on the first day of 12/12 cut it above the break and made a clone out of it.
I'll update the thread with the pre harvest pics in 3 months for those who are curious
Remember to Study and keep moving forward keep improving your techniques that means Studying not just asking people to solve your problems.The key is to NOT make those mistakes in the first place or correct them fast and you will be rewarded for your efforts !
Hope all is well in your world.
Thanks for sharing this grow with us.
I’m moving this to Completed Journals now.
Have you started a new grow you would like to share with us?
If so, please feel free to start a new journal here: Journals in Progress
Sending you lots of love and positive energy.
