Yeah it was meant as such! But it's also the truth I think. I don't *think* I can fill a seven gallon pot with a whole proper root ball with an auto. Although I do it with a five every time, so maybe...but without using a seven for the plants I don't think they would ever get as big as that Somango in soil. I could be wrong. Photos sure but autos with a two/three week training window? Soil is too slow to get the spread you have on those in the open training window. Again, I think. I don't KNOW. I'm hoping someone can show me a journal with an auto in a seven but I have never once seen it anywhere.
hmm nunyabiz maybe? Or StoneOtter? I'm not to sure to be honest. I've followed a few soil grows, but only only remember the standard is 5.
They grow damn fast. How big was that net? Just to get better picture how big is the canopy.
It's a 4x4 tent, and I think, 4 x4 inches for each square. I forgot to measure the squares, so I pulled that from The Bucket Company's website.
They look terrific so you obviously got to that pump just in time. Great catch! :thumb:
Thanks Shed! I noticed today a bit of damage, but barely noticeable. They were due for a bump, just not that much of one!

Girls are looking good, here's a bit of a close up under the P4000 from @ViparSpectra, who's light has shown nothing but spectacular growth

Great growing brother.
Thank you, it's going to be interesting to keep things going smoothly for the upcoming cold months. We've already had frost several times.

Flower Day 16
Day 54 above ground

Tent temp: 22C
Tent RH%: 40~60%
Previous PPM: 945 PPM
Current PPM: 976 PPM
Adjusted PPM to: 894 PPM
PH: 5.8
Res temp: 22.5C
Water level: slight down

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a good day! I know that my plants are looking as happy as can be, minus a bit of a magnesium deficiency damage on the leaves of the Bruce Banner Auto. I've upped the cal mag PPM from 150 to 200 in the top up reservoir, and used that to dilute the solution down.
That should take care of the deficiency.
So they're going to be the width they are now, minus the Somango Auto, who I think will stretch further. I'm satisfied with the filling on the net, now...let's see some flowering!
i raised the light up as the plants had grown close, no noticeable light burn yet, but it was coming. The light now sits roughly 20 inches away. A bit closer then the 22-26 recommendation for flowering, but I'll raise it more soon. I have to say, the folks @ViparSpectra have done a fantastic job, thank you :green_heart:

Hope you all have a great week :snowboating:

Thanks Verbalist!

Thanks Jon,

The net is roughly 18 inches from the top of the hydroton.

I raised the lights up again today, to the 22 inches from canopy as recommended.

Looks awesome in there wished more pistols were that far along . I’ve just been taking mine back to 24” . Could you imagine two of these in a 5’x5’ !

Thanks West! Funny thing is, I was thinking the same, except right now I'm limited to a 4x4 tent. It would be spectacular. Though ironically it wasn't that long ago that I was using my grow cabinet. Now that I'm eyeing a nice sized grow room, or possibly two smaller ones a 4x4 tent just seems small.

You are slaying this scrog ! Hell yeah brotherrr!
Thanks brother! I'm hoping it works out!

Flower Day 18
Day 56 above ground

Tent temp: 23C
Tent RH%: 60~80%
Previous PPM: 996 PPM
Current PPM: 968 PPM
Adjusted PPM to: ph'd up, forgot to check PPM
PH: 5.8
Res temp: 21.8C
Water level: slight down

So a bit of a surprise last night, noticed some water on the tent floor. Did a bucket looksy to check which one was overflowing, found the white Berry Auto sitting in water, not draining. A quick removal of the drain pipe found it clogged with roots. Saw this coming- I wanted to put my material in to prevent this....but waited too long and didn't want to disturb the roots. Next grow it'll be in, for now it'll be a root trim whenever the pipes clog.

So I made sure to snap a photo, root porn is lacking in the journal. Though when you see the pic....you may not want more

Aside from that they're plugging along, found a nice surprise in the tent- see pics.

And that's pretty much all for now folks!

Awesome update. Ladybugs are good luck!! She's a purty one too. I love those damn things. Your buds are developing sweetly man. And you've made it all the way to the corner squares!!! Congratulations!!! Our flowering cycles are not too far off from one another, which is kind of cool too.

Thank you Jon, it was mixed emotions seeing that ladybug. Part of me was with you on the good luck...the rest of me hoped she wasn't there cause it's a full buffet! No real pests signs since konking the garage :dude-knocking:

Thanks, when I planted the white Berry Auto, I didn't think she'd be the one to steal the show....but she's got some beautiful colas starting.

Yeah our grows are timing up nicely, I'm still stoked on how beautiful your are!

The plants look happy as clams but I have to say that is not root porn! This is root porn.

I'm still waiting for a post-chop pic of what is down in those buckets, but I've got time!
I gotta admit, your root porn got me off better than Rexer's in this case.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have one little damn critter in the Photo tent I can't find. I can tell he's solo cuz the leaf bites he takes are so few and far between. But when I find one I go searching for him and so far he has eluded me. It's no big deal but it's messing with my plants and I don't like it. I was thinking about getting a dozen ladybugs and tossing them into the tent. Betcha they'd make short work of him and then simply die of starvation. They don't mind sacrificing themselves for the good of the harvest.

I couldn't breathe for a bit from laughter when I saw the root shaped like that.

I got so paranoid at the leaf chomping I used safers. I've been fairly lucky so far for pests

safers?

Won’t be long there will be a sea of swollen tops . Was that root stuck in the piping ? If so looks like it might have been a filter for awhile.

Bugs I still hadn’t caught that ass yet . Don’t shoot at with a salt gun , all the leaves I blew tiny holes in that ass chomped on them . It has a stinger and crawls 90 mph plus flys .

Safers 3 in 1 . Works on a bunch of pests...I figured if I was going to keep only 1 as a just in case, it would be that. The sns isn't available in Canada I don't think

Yeah it's always like that when it fills clogs the pipe. Smells like fresh dirt.
