Root rot/pot grow/

emergency case! what to do with root rot, im growing in pots and my oldest plant suddenly lost vigor...it leaves drop, bottom leaves suddenly showed yellowing... when i dug below the soil just below the stem, i noticed that the root system below the stem is rotting... and found some molds.

steps taken 1) cut the tops to clone asap
2) cut the original root system and cloned the remaining.


need help asap...
