Runnin's RDWC Fem WW, Gorilla Zkittles Grow Journal, 2021

Hi folks, first journal ever so here goes.

Setup.

Propagation: Root it plugs+Root it first feed. Has never failed me 100% strike rate so far.

Ladies: 1xBFS Gorilla Zkittles, 2xGH White widow. Both indica dominant. Been in veg for almost 7 weeks now.

Tent dimension: 1.2x2.4x2.0.

Lighting: sf4000 and sf2000 running at 6 on and 2 hours off cycles.

Medium: hydro, home made rdwc, 200 litre capacity(50 litres each tub), 2x16 inch air stones each tub.

Airflow: Blauberg Turbo 150 attached to filtaroo carbon filter with sound deadening ducting. 1x Breezin 6 inch clip fan. 1x large house fan zip tied to roof.

Temps: Air-26c when lights on, 22c when lights off. Water-20c to 22c.

Humidity: 50-60 percent.

Ph: Monitored by Blue lab guardian at 5.6.

Pests: None.

Water treatment: My tap water EC is .2 so I pass it through the horse hydrator to remove chlorine and remaining heavy metals to bring EC down to .1. I use RO water to top up the system.

Nutrients: Cyco, Sugar rush pro kit.

I'm in for the ride you've got a clean set up going in there Cant wait to watch these girls flower. Have you ran RDWC before? I'm very curious about running multiple strains in the same system.

Hi Michael, thanks a bunch first off. This is my first time running RDWC. My last garden was using XL Autopot system in coco. To be honest I’m struggling a little with the two strains mate. I’m having to underfeed the Zkittles slightly so the WW doesn’t show excess nitrogen. It’s been pretty finicky trying to find a happy medium. I’m hoping once I switch to 12/12 and nutrient demands go up the WW will deal with extra nitrogen better so I can give the Zkittles what she wants. Only time will tell.

That's exactly what I'm worried about . As long as their flower demands aren't too far off from each other it should get easier in flower since nitrogen levels drop significantly. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya and am definitely here to the end

Just switched to flower. They be thirsty ladies topping up with a lot of water every week. Decided to cut back 10% on bloom a&b, I’m kind of worried about nitrogen toxicity. Will upload more pics in the coming days
