Scandinavian´s Northern Light - Bubble Gum SCROG

Hello

I have been lurking some time around the completed journals, i was quickly hooked and decided to try it out myself. This is my first grow of basically anything ever.. Bare with me!



First some information:

Soil:
50% standard flowers soil (Soil is way over nuted and PH 5.5 which have given me some problems)
40% leca medium size
10% beach sand

Growroom:
Home built into a closet. Made a skeleton of wood, filled it with rockwool and covered with mylar.

Size: 145W cm x 45D cm x 135H cm
Celsius: 29-31 degrees (Slightly high, working on new intake solution)
Ventilator and fan running 24/7

Lights:
2 x 400 watt HPS on 18/6 cycle
Lights are 65 cm above soil.


Plants:
8 x Northern light feminized
2 x bubble gum bonus seeds
Planted in 11 Litre pots


Dates and log: (Will be updated along with the progress)
Seeds put in wet toiletpaper on 8 dec. 2013
Seeds put in 0.5L soil on 10. dec. 2013
Replanted into 11L pots on 26. dec 2013


Nutes:Started mixing nutes into water on 26 dec.
Biobizz rootjuice
Biobizz Bio Grow
Used adviced measures from biobizz guide

Wow, Scandinavian!

Really nice setup, and great intro! Very well thought out, babies are looking good, I'd say you're off to a great start! That's gonna be a full as closet before you know it! Have some +Reps! I'm along for the ride and cant wait to see what your ladies do!

Im currenty having some heat problems, around 30-34 celcius, so im looking to purchase an air intake ventilator, and probably a cooltube.

Hello Fadedme.

Thanks for asking, because i have no idea. As said i would love some advice on pretty much every matter.

My thought was to veg until they reached a certain height. My plants are for a 30 day veg, quite some centimeters behind i can understand. I will be using the scrog method, and i feel they need some more height before introducing this to the room?

Please correct me if mistaken, but these plats are quite some time from flowering stage..

Hey you may want to be careful I've only been growing in the 4X4 tent for 32 days had to flip to 12/12 because it was filling up fast now 8 days into flower and the screen and tent a dang near full lol along for the ride

what is the exact size of them at this stage ?

im using one strain at the moment which im veging for 6 weeks and and flip to 12/12

since your using scrog i suggest that u flip this week or so and u need a propert venatlation as u mentioned u have a heat probelm so dont stress the plant which it will affect her during flowering ...u need to maintain the heat and fresher air

have used scrog before or this is ur first time? are going for V shape since ur growin in tent ?

why u dont transplant them in a bigger round pots then flip

u should have used diff soil mix to avoid PH problem , warmcasting perlite ,vermilite thats a good mix or pro mix ...etc

are you using the PH kit up and down? to maintain a good P.H level

15th January 2014 - 35 days into VEG - Average plant height: 24 cm

Now for symptoms. I think its heat stress/light burn combined with a nute burn. Have incresead light distance, stopped nutes and supplied extra intake oxygen.

No V shape

-They are today 25 cm
-No larger pots, 11l is best for the setup
-The soil was bad choice, will improve this next run
-Ph kit is purchased

Hey.. its looking good, and they seem to be very healthy, seems like they made a nice recovery.
