Greetings,
For the purposes of this particular site, I would prefer to be known as CF, CannabisFan, or Ty. I'm a medical cannabis patient living in a prohibition state. I am a marijuana enthusiast and activist, to the extent that I am able to be an activist given the legal status for marijuana in the state in which I currently reside. Within the next few years, my family and I will be moving to a state which recognizes medical marijuana laws, and I will then be able to be a little more open and public about who I am and what I do. Until then, I apologize for my secrecy.
The following paragraph contains mostly personal information, relevant or interesting to very few. I am a young husband and father of 2 fantastic children. I've been married since I was 18, which was nearly a decade ago. I'm currently a student at a university. My major field of study is biology, with a minor in chemistry. I've been studying the biological and chemical aspects of cannabis for about 2 years now. Unfortunately I am restricted in the materials I have access to; I must purchase the documentaries, books and journals from which I learn online. This is because, though such material may legally be purchased and possessed locally, the particular state in which I reside has other methods for dealing with individuals who prove to be curious about unapproved subject matter. It's rather unconventional and extends outside the bounds of law, infiltrating the entire social structure. For that reason, I attempt to use extreme discretion.
I tend to be rather formal in my correspondences until I have become comfortable in my environment. I have been a member of this forum for about a week, but I am currently attending summer classes and have not been able to browse the forums much. For this reason I still tend to err on the side of formality and caution.
I absolutely adore reptiles. My favorite family is Boidae (boas, pythons and anacondas). I am rather interested in other reptiles as well, but I tend to avoid pets capable of ingesting or envenomating me or my family members. I am also a passionate numismatist, though the series I take the time to study are rather specific and restricted.
I believe that about covers most of what I'm willing to share, as far as any personal introduction is concerned. I'm excited to be here, and I look forward to learning from everyone willing to share the knowledge they've gleaned, as well as sharing any information I may have accumulated during my forays into local socially shunned education.
Blessings to all of you. Thank you for your time and consideration.
