Seattle will soon be home to the state's first self-service marijuana vending machine.

American Green will be debuting its marijuana vending machine ZaZZZ inside Seattle Caregivers medical dispensary on Feb. 3.

The vending machine will be stocked with medicinal and recreational marijuana and pot-infused edibles. The machine will also have an advanced ID-scanner to verify a user's identity and age before dispensing the items.

"This is an exciting time in Seattle's cannabis community, and is representative of what can happen anywhere — laws permitting," Stephen Shearin, president and chief operating officer of American Green, said in a statement. "ZaZZZ will simplify, track, and expedite the process in which marijuana users purchase their favorite products.

The vending machine was first launched at Herbal Elements medical marijuana dispensary in Eagle-Vail, Colo., last April.

"Why wait 10 minutes in line if you can walk right over?" Shearin told CBS Denver at the time.
The vending machine will be available seven days a week.
