It's about to get a little easier to get retail marijuana, edibles and similar pot-infused products in Fort Collins. Infinite Wellness Center, 900 N. College Ave., this week became the second marijuana business within city limits that has been cleared to sell recreational cannabis. Retail sales will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, and the business will be open daily until 6:30 p.m., except on Sundays, when doors will close at 6 p.m. Recreational customers on Wednesday will be able to select from a variety of edibles and chocolates, along with about 10 different strains of marijuana. The business will split up lines for medical and recreational customers, and they are exploring a VIP program that can expedite the process.

Infinite Wellness Centers joins Organic Alternatives, 346 E. Mountain Ave., on the retail front within Fort Collins city limits. Several other medical marijuana dispensaries in the area have gone through the state's licensing process in recent months, including Solace Meds LLC and Elite Organics, records show. They still need to obtain the required city approvals. Larimer County officials earlier this year gave the go-ahead to Choice Organics and Flower Power Botanicals, which are located just outside of the city's east limits.
