Start of week 4. Venice Beach Afghan.

Each res has had a 20gal water change. Nutrients on each are 2 ml/gal armor si, 5 ml/gal of micro, 3ml/gal of grow, 5ml/gal bloom, 5ml/gal calimagic, 5ml/gal diamond nectar.
PH was 6.4 has been adjusted down to 5.9

I know they are a bit nitro to but this is before I did another trim.

The one in the tent is doing much better and I think she will give more than her sister.

After much research I decided to trim solely based on the fact that my inner buds weren't getting enough light and I didn't want any hot spots inside my bush.

Sorry I didn't get pics of the trim with the one inside the tent but I did that last week.

I can't wait to see what you yield from that monster! Good luck!

Of all the problems you can have in the grow room, being so heavy that you fall down is one of the better ones! Next time, get in there with some plant stakes a bit earlier. :)

Yup, I agree. Being too heavy is both a blessing and a problem.

One of the things racking my brain right now is "how can I prevent this next time" I could do like you said and stake it earlier but there really is nowhere to do that because it's basically a top heavy plant growing out of a 5gal bucket base.

So I'm guessing my best option for next time is to go with sort of a ScrOG setup so at least they will have a wider footprint down at the base. Less climbing and running string.

or a vertical trellis... or a 7 gallon container... whips and chains... everyone has their methods. :)

Little lady inside the tent is perfectly happy, showing signs of nute burn but no big deal.

Overall both seem healthy other than slight nutrient burn and a little nitro tox.
I will be doing a res change tonight with only bloom and micro, no more grow for these girls till their done.

Just finished the res change, amounts are:

Both 20 gal change regular tap water
2ml/gal GH armor si
7.5ml/gal GH micro
12ml/gal GH bloom
4ml/gal GH calimagic, just ran out
2ml/gal hydroguard
Ran out of diamond nectar so won't be adding any this time around

pH at 6.1 with no adjusting
Ppm ~900
Height 48" and 39"

In each res I have one pump top feeding the plants and a second pump providing a current to homogenize the nutrient solution

Hey people!
Sorry about the late update. I've been dealing with some powdery mildew but I'm pretty sure I got it under control now.

The girls are doing good, starting to fatten up a bit. Just started week 7 today and trichs are mostly cloudy at this piont, 2 more weeks to go!
Been topping off the res with condensate from the dehumidifier and ppms are slowly dropping. Haven't had to adjust ph since the res change, pretty happy about that :thumb:

Took some night pics right before lights came on and holy crap it surprised me. I'll take some trichomes pictures a little later to give you guys a general idea of where I am but here are the most recent night pics.

Well here is what I have been dealing with so far.
Both plants have been completely soaked with green cleaner and seem to have responded okay after a day.

Also, I think I'm dealing with fungus gnats. While washing the roots I noticed thousands of small brown specs floating on the water (eggs?)

Oh, btw... starting my extended flush now and will be doing so for 2 1/2 weeks
