Second timer need tips

Hello everyone,

This is my second grow, my first was a ghetto closet set up 2x5 space using 250 hps crappy led I bought from Craig's list and a cfl lamp I made myself, got like 7 oz of bush. I wasn't after the yield just the experiment, and to me it worked but has to be fine tuned. I'm moving soon and will have more space to grow in, done lots of research and this is the set up I'm leaning towards just because it fits my living situation. Going after the yield now I want a perpetual grow using a 4x4 tent just to bloom a 2x4 for veg and a small 2/3 foot grow box for seedlings, for the lights I will be using my old 250 hps for veg a t5 fixture from the first growth for the grow box and for my 4x4 two of the solar system 550 led from California light works and of course I will be implementing the correct fans ducting nutes and all that good stuff!
My questions are simple, do I have enough light should I get something else? where do I get good fem auto seeds? What a good easy medium and nutes set up? Any tips would help and def be appreciated I have a lot of work until I can make this happen but it's all I think about

I would say the best start is by finding a few journals you like and soaking up as much information as you can from them.

If your not sure what medium to go with, read through a soil, a coco, and a dwc journal to learn about the differences in each one. I started with Fox Farms soils.

Look into journals that use different nutrient lineups and compare ingredients, cost, results, etc. to find out what's best for your grow. I started with fox farm trio and ended up needing some cal mag too.

Know your environment. You might invest in a humidifier/dehumidifier to keep your humidity in an optimal range. I didn't at first and had really slow growth due to low humidity. High humidity has another set of issues that come with it.

Read through some auto and photo journals of strains you might like to grow to see others experiences with them. I started with CKS Cali OG Kush photo, but also got a few CKS autos as well to see how they grow.

The best thing you can do is study. And even after all that studying, mistakes will still be made. But during the run is when all that info starts to sink in and make sense.

When you start your journal, be very descriptive of everything your using/doing and take lots of pictures. Stop in and say hi on other people's journals, and add a link to your journal in your signature so people will visit. You will receive plenty of help along the way!

Good luck and happy growing amigo!
