Whats up boys and girls. Although there will be nothing exciting going on in this journal and do not expect too much interest, I miss posting and I have a little something going on and its nice to document it for me to check out in the future.
No big plants here. Nothing more than 2 feet and I am surprised they got that big.
With that said here we go.
What I have done is sprouted 6 seeds, 3 Full Moon, 2 LBHaze and 1 Mystery with the intent on crossing the LBHaze with my Full Moon and Mystery plants.
All six sprouted no problem and was hoping for at least 2 males one Full Moon and One LBHaze. What I got was 5 females, all three Full Moon, 1 Mystery and 1 LBHaze, The One and only Male was a LBHaze. Which in the end will work out just fine.
So I waited for the plants to get around Six inches tall and put them outside to start flowering. They all went through a bit of stress since when I put them outside God decided to send us a heat wave and temps where well over the 100 degree mark. And since I was out of town for that week they had to just stick it out. I got home and they did not take the heat all that well. They where still alive but did not look all that good. Anyway I nursed them back to health and besides a little white fly issues they are doing just fine.
The Full moon stretched about another six inches and are a little less than a foot tall. The Mystery and LBhaze stretched a whole lot more and are around 2 feet.
At this point I have spread the pollin from the LBHaze male on 2 of the Full Moons and the Mystery plants. Started to pollinate about a week ago. I will let the LBHaze and the remaining Full Moon just bud up and give me a small amount of buds that I will smoke in the end. That is if all goes well.
They will be grown outside so weather could become an issue and ruin everything but I am going to roll the dice and hopefully everything will work out...
I used my own little compost and soil mixture and will be feeding them FoxFarms Big Bloom, Snow Storm Ultra and compost tea. My normal routine is not to use anything like FoxFarms or Snow Storm but I thought I would give it a try on this run since it is mostly for seeds, and see how it works out.
Anyway here is some pics of my progress at around 3 weeks,
First is the Full Moon that I did not pollinate
The next two are pollinated Full Moon flowers, I used the male LBhaze.
The next is the LBhaze that was not pollinated
Next is the Mystery pollinated with the LBhaze
And here is the daddy, a male LBhaze, at least I got this one...
Thanks for taking a look and as always all comments and suggestion are greatly appreciated...
