Seeds water vs nutes

Hello Bud buddies,
When i germinate seeds i just use tap ph water, but others use nutes. Always had good germ rates and no problems but my last two grows i didn't. Has any growers done both and what was your better results. I used rockwools socked for 24 hours and i put the seeds in same ph water to sofen shell.

Never tried that way before.

Been using the paper towel method for germinating seeds. Works great. Only use tap water no nute. Seed pop within 1-7 days depending on the age of the seed. Good seed pop within 24hrs.

Yeah no nutes. I found the best way for me is to just fill a glass with standard tap water and leave the seed in the water. It only takes a couple of days usually and you dont have to keep any paper wet because its in water.

Does anyone use rockwools?

No rockwool here. After speed popped in paper towel then off they go to coco coir.
