Seeking A Sympathetic Guru! I'm 4 Years As A Medical User & New Grower

I'm using general hydroponics all-in-one and my ppm meter is around 800/850.

The entire plant is looking fabulous but for those 2 leaves.

Im not sure if I'm a big fan of this particular nutriets because it is leaving a slimy scum in the water and air stones after just a few days.

I have others but I'm gonna need to get out the cookbook that came with the nutrient kit.

The plant is only showing the anomaly osn

the one branch.

I have a whisper150 running a 4 inch round flat, stone under each basket 1 inch the waterline. Maybe the swelling of the bubbles seems to be drenching the bottom of the rockwool. I'm dropping the waterline one quarter inch.

Im just gonna relax for now about the yellowing unless it starts affecting other parts of the plant.

While lifting the plant to get the pictures, I nearly damaged her bumping the light fixture ... got lucky this time.

Well since I'm forced to use air conditioned tap water and it alone is nearly 500ppm and a purifier is not in my budget.

If not for being financially forced to supply my own herb, I would have gotten into all this grow much better prepared and equipped...

And yes the light brown foamy scum coating everything is scary looking

I have a set of 2 inexpensive digital meters. Maybe next month I'll try to find a chemical test kit. If this grow is unsuccessful, I'll give soil a try. Maybe hydro is over my head.

I used to used general hydroponics in DWC and I noticed the slimeyness your speaking of, and it was a brownish ting to it, I switched to botanicare and have not had that issue since and the plants love that line more in my opinion
I use GH Flora Trio and never have a slime or brown roots

Hydroguard and z7 ensure that

Probably going to start different nutrients at next water change. As far as that crap in the water, I just give it a good stirring. I see the roots are getting a good start so I'll definitely need to protect them.

Here's my stores of nutrients
Floragrow 216. Floranova Bloom (advertised as a one product for all grow stages) I'm not impressed with all the pond scum.

Now there's the Technaflora kit. With 3 of the containers empty from LEAKAGES. And a recipe chart fit for only an experienced scientific grower.
