Sense Amelia's First Pop At Indoor Soil Grow

Well I must have turned it off somehow! I'll sort it out in a minute when I get organised. :laughtwo: We were gonna discuss cal/mag though but I got some already! Came on xmas eve! Thanks Giga.

Not posted an update as such for a while so I thought I'd get all caught up. Girls aint had no nutes now since 13th december, I know I could have hit them up one more time but they have started to take waterings less frequently now so I just didn't want anything funked up. Instead of every 3 days they get watered every 5 now.

As far as I could see any more nutes wouldn't have really benefitted them much at this stage anyway. I think their buds are as big as they're gonna get now - it's just a case of waiting for them to firm up some more. Some of my plants are more ready than others, so harvesting in stages may be what occurs. The girl with the biggest cola is gonna take the longest to cook, so she can just stay where she is as take as much time as she needs. Well... they all can. I aint into rushing this shit.

Cal/mag arrived with new soil on Christmas eve, can get the next lot going soon, and Sense Amelia got a new camera to open on 25th :laughtwo: Thanks to my other half.

Anyway, less jabber, here they are. The plant taken out of tent to pose is STAR.

thats beautifull miss young lady

Well Mc, I'm SO new to ALL this, but this is my opinion on it, it seems to stiffen up the buds, firms them, makes them cluster and compact more tightly. Physically to the touch they are spikier and tougher than if NOT using molasses. :laughtwo: Hope it affects the way they smoke in a nice way too.

Thanks Fish ;-)

Excellent looking ladies! :thumb:

nice, glad its all sorted now. i must have missed it, i tend to fall behind with all the posts and then scan read (yes i know im such a slacker).

anyways apart from the cal/mag and molasses i was going to mention seaweed, nettles, comfrey and strangely enough...dandelions.

Nettles: Ca, Cu, Fe, K
Comfrey: Ca, Fe, K, Mg
Dandelion: Ca, Cu, Fe, K, MG, P

just as other examples of natural ferts if you do go all organic ;)

there we go, sorry it took a while to reply =p

Hi Dgc! Thanks for stopping by. It's just waiting on mother nature to finish my girls off now. I have one plant which looks VERY ready now almost but I realise I cannot harvest in stages (as I said before) I have to DRY in the tent ya see. There's meant to be 9 days left. But Star's cola needs to be cooked more, it's still a bit too soft and feathery. 2 weeks more I think and hopefully not TOO long after that. :laughtwo:

this is a bit off the cuff, but cant you just dry in some cardboard boxes in your running grow room? they should keep out the light but barely hinder the humidity escaping..just a thought ;)

That is what I am now doing. It is working like a charm and allows me to keep the plants cycling. :)

I am waiting on another microscope now. The last one I chose and ordered was a piece of shit. :laughtwo: I have been using my loupe but through that I am STILL not seeing hardly any amber trichs on the sugar leaves I removed, so it either means they arent there yet, OR my jewellers loupe is not good enough and so it's all riding on what the new scope shows when it arrives.

Gave them a molasses watering today, they were pretty thirsty. Here's a few pics of them:

They look close to done to me.... Can not wait for the results when they are really done though! You have and are doing a great job with these little ladies. :)

wowsers!!
Looking really dank Sense, nice work!
I may have missed you mention it before but does your camera have a macro setting??
Most cameras can get a pretty good macro closeup to see trichs..
