Yes you sure can dry at will. Just keep track so you don't over or under dry any buds. Keep track of the dates.

Your pics don't really look like Bud rot to me. The three colas are dry? Were they cooked from the light heat?
If there dried you should probably cut them off.

I think they were cooked...my one stake fell over causing 3 of the buds to lean too far into the light (no room left). Can it be smoked or will it be horrific?
If it's not mold and just cooked you can smoke it but will probably not be very tasty. It would be better suited for edibles or a topical cream. But twist one up and see.

Humidity also really dense bud can be more susceptible.

You might of just Burt them it was all colas. You said they grew into the light. Just monitor if you see more in other areas. After all your real close.

I'm pretty worried its bud rot now. I wish I knew what I was looking at.
I looked over your pics again I just can't tell one way or the other.
It usually starts inside the bud so when you see it the inside is full. The pics you took I am not really seeing that.

No that would be something else. It starts in the bud
