Should I take the plastic bag dome off? Pics Included

Hey everyone! I’m excited about my first grow, but I’m a little concerned about my 3 plants. They’ve all sprouted, but I’m not sure if the humidity dome I’ve created is hurting them right now.

I’ve got them in a grow tent indoors. They’re planted in Happy Frog soil. I’m using a LED Electric Sky 300 V2 positioned about 40 inches from the top of the plant. Humidity has been set at approx 75% and temp has been between 77-80 degrees F.

They are on the third day after breaking the sprouting through the soil. I feel like maybe I should take them out of the dome because they’re too wet? Or maybe I need to lower my light because they’re getting too long? I’m really not sure. These were seeds and not clones in case that matters.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think they look normal as far as stem length and leaf shape? Also, do you think I should lower my light?

Hey OMG,

Welcome to 420...! Yes, they look great so far. I would probably keep light where it is for now. If you notice the plants stretching up high then you can adjust in a couple of days
Thanks for the welcome! I’m really excited about this and been wanting to do this for awhile now. Thanks for the advice. When I germinated these three as seeds, I floated them in water first. One of the seeds sank immediately so I thought it was a bad seed. I feel like it’s my special plant now lol.
One more question for anyone to answer, but I want to do an 18-6 light cycle. Is now the time to start that? They’ve been on 24 hours the whole time since I’ve planted them.

You’ll have to up pot them at some point you can always plant them a little deeper then. Just leave the light where it is and let the plant grow to the light. I’d only lower the light if they start stretching way to much.
Thanks! My plan is to eventually get them into 5 gallon pots. Would now be an appropriate time to start an 18-6 light cycle? The light has been on the whole time since I’ve planted them.
