Should i transplant? please weigh in!

PT. 1 I started a hydro set up in a 3" net pot in a plastic coffee can bubbler. To my surprise its doing quite well. I went to the hydro store today and got a 10" net pot for a 5 gal bucket. Can I set the whole 3" pot inside the 10"? Or do i need to move the plant only? Addind more hydroton of course.

PT. 2 IF i leave in the coffee bucket will it limit my size/yield?

If the roots come out of the bottom of the net pot then move the pot also.
I just did it with 2 of mine, I start some of them in 3.75" net pots to use in my dwc systems.
This one went to a 6" pot (3gal bucket) and is now over 3' tall.
