Single plant DWC

Hey everyone! Just figured id post my grow!

Equipment
400w Mh/HPS (MH for veg)
Air cooled Hood
x2 60GPH Air pumps, with 4 air stones in there.
10 Gallon Rubbermaid container
Running Advanced Nutes line, Sensi grow A&B, and B-52 right now.

Growing a Femanized Northern lights from seed. Germed in paper towel, its 4 weeks old as of last saturday! 19/5 Light schedule.

The plant was topped I think 9 days ago also!! Gonna do a Scrog I think

Open to any tips, comments, advice!

P.S. Ordering 96*3 Led light to grow with here in a week or so, Have to move the plant to a smaller location!

Heres an update! Made a little oops, during my LST I broke one of my new tops. Sucks, but she looks to not be affected by it! I plan on topping 2 more locations just to make a little wider.

I have a Mars II 400w LED light on the way and have a new grow space. With a ScRog going in

I see that you ran the 400W MARS II LED light in a grow. Do you Veg and Flower with them? I have one on the way ( hopefully be here saturday ) And planned on running it for the rest of the grow.

I have that light and my current HGK grow was done start to almost finish under that light. Still a few weeks left, but it does make some tight dense nugs. In flower I've had it 12 inches from tops with no stress or bleaching, so that's a plus.

Did you run it that close in veg?! Heard about 24" in veg. I am growing in a room not quite the size of coverage area.

I kept it about 18 to 20 inches away after about two weeks, once I started feeding it nutes. 24 inches for the first two weeks though.

Ya I'll prob start it at 24" and go from there. I just tied it all down tonight for some LST, gonna be under a scrog also I believe. Not 100% sure lol. I heard DWC/ScRog combo can be pain in the ass sometimes

Yeah, if you have to change the res it'll be a huge pain with the scrog screen in place. Especially in flower. Too much work for me

Ya so I heard. Keeping my light 24" ( max distance ) take away about 9 inches from tub that leaves about 3 feet of plant height. Kind of pushing it if I have to keep light higher! Figured scrog would regulate that for me!

I guess I could stay on top of the lst and make sure don't go to high. The plant is 11" tall right now 5 weeks into veg.

My PC has been in veg almost 3 months and it's only about 6 or 8 inches above the medium. It's 20 inches wide on all sides, but short. It's getting the scrog screen, but it'll mainly just be for support, not training. Aiming for a pound with her alone in flower room soon.

I haven't measured after the lst. I'm also starting kind of late, so plant already has some height on it. I'm prob gonna veg another two weeks. Get my canopy nice and even just so don't grow to much lol.

My stalk don't wanna bend much it seems pretty thick and not bendable. Just tied down the side ones and new top ( from topping )

Yeah it helps to start them early on lst, especially if you want them low and flat. It'll be nice to see some before and after pics of your lst

Ya I wasn't considering lst at first. But now since I reconsidered the scrog mainly how much of a pain in the ass it would be. I'm thinking I can still keep it about 14" max. Then flower it once all the colas turn upside torwards the light.

HOPEFULLY keep it within limits lol

It'll stretch real good when you flip. Usually double or triple in height, so make sure you have the space to keep pulling the branches down and out

Sounds good Theres a delay in my light..which sucks! Thinking I might have to veg a little longer than wanted. Cant put that MH in the small room I have. I think it would get just wayyyy to hot.

Very true! There is a big back order on the mars light. So I decided to go with the 96*3 reflector series. Which will suit me we'll I think with my room being rectangle shape. That way I will be able to let plant grow a bit because can keep them a bit closer than the 5w
