SleepDog’s Sour OG, Sherbert Kush & Bubba Kush: Soilless Grow Journal 2019

I decided to leave the Sour OG in the dark for 36 hrs. I would have gone longer but had to get her chopped. Here are a few photos of this Beauty Sour OG before she gets the chop



I will update with some pics of her hanging and dried weight.

It looks like I have a few fans hanging around to watch my journal, @Lowrider72 & @Old Salt I will continue to post for you guys and hopefully others.
Here is the Sherbert Kush on day 20 of flower. She is fully trained to where I want her and I will take the odd fan leaf here and there to open her up inside.

This huge bitch is almost 4x4 and I don’t think I will be able to fit the 2 Bubba Kush in there with her.

Here are the 2 Bubba Kush. The couple breaks didn’t even phase them, they scarred right up and got thicker.
I will probably put the first one in flower room soon and put the second one outside.

I picked this above plant for outside because she just wants to grow and stretch. All tips are facing upwards within a couple hours of training.

I am finally finished trimming the Sour OG and hoping that I took it at the right time. Everywhere I looked with the loop after the dark cycle and trim there is either clear or amber trichs. Why does it seem there aren’t nearly as many cloudy trichs now?
The buds still smell and look delicious and I am sure it will do the trick.
Look how much bud came off this one lower branch.

I am enjoying the little treats along the way. It is so covered in trichs, I get to scrape a tasty treat from scissors every branch.

Sherbert Kush Day 21 of flower.

She wasn’t bothered by the last training and now these buds will just continue to get nice and fat. I am amazed at the amount of trichomes this beauty has and she is starting to get a nice smell to her.

Sherbert Kush day 23 of flower.
She has completely finished stretching and is putting all of her energy into these nice trich covered buds. I am having the same issue with some of the bigger fan leaves as I was having with the Sour OG. I think it is a minor cal/mag deficiency that really only showed because the lights were a bit too close. I have moved lights up a few inches but only have maybe 2” of room left. Hopefully the buds get heavy and pull the branches down by herself over time.

A bit of an update on the Sour OG. After 9-11 days hanging and sitting on screens the buds are dry enough to start putting in jars. All stocks removed and only good tight nugs weighed in at 11 oz.

A lot of the top buds on branches were over 3g’s And the big branches had many tops over 4g’s. The heaviest being 4.9g’s
Here is a pic for scale.

Not too shabby for my first indoor plant, and if this Sherbert Kush keeps going like she is it will have over a pound.

Thank you all for following along with the Sour OG, I will continue on with the Sherbert and Bubba Kush. I decided to train both the Bubba Kush around the Sherbert and put them both to flower 3 days ago. These bubba grow so fast and get thick hard stocks in no time, which makes it difficult to keep up with their training.
I have managed to train them to Almost fill flower room with a bit of room to spare in case I need to pull these down a bit after the initial flower stretch.

Sorry for the bloom lights I couldn’t reach in to turn off atm. Bad back and short ceiling sucks balls.

Cheers Tom! I didn’t even mean for them to be as big as they are. I underestimate the amount of stretch, and I think it is going to bite me in the ass with these Bubba Kush. I will train them down the best I can for the next week or so, or when I run out of space I will snip the lower garbage off and just let them go. Hopefully being a Kush the girls will stay shorter and get some fat buds.

Cheers @Bilbobudkin420! The Sour OG sure is, and I can’t wait for this Sherbert Kush. She is just about finished week 5 and I think I will let her go 9. I’m not exactly sure when the right time for her will be but she is going to be fat and tasty AF! Lol

Update:

The Sherbert Kush is still packing on the buds now in week 6 of flower. I am going to have to rig up some form of support for these branches, they are already so heavy they are starting to droop over into the other 2 Bubba Kush.

The 2 Bubba Kush are doing well going into the second week in flower room. They have stretched a fair bit so I’m going to wait a week longer for them to finish and then pull everything to it’s final position.
These 2 bubba definitely have different pheno’s. They have been given everything the same and the one on right is definitely dealing with some nitrogen toxicity. I kept thinking I must keep giving her to much water until I came across another thread where I almost led someone astray until another reader hopped in and straightened shit up. Lol.
P.s that scraggler hanging out in the back beside fan was a Bagseed Mother Of Berries that was just hanging in there until I wanted to use her but apparently she is auto flower so she had to get thrown in the flower room where I have no room. She smells so sweet I can’t throw her out.

Week 6 complete. The Sherbert Kush is starting to smell very nice and strong. Every time I come out of flower room my nose is sticky from smelling all the buds. I am going to have to start tying these branches up now that they are getting so heavy. The Bubba Kush are in week 2 now. They have been trained down a bit more and cleaned out underneath, but still need a bit of defoliation.
