Hi all,I'm starting to see the odd amber trichomes...I think?but mostly clear and cloudy,they've fattened up a lil bit more but still on the small is side I think,this is starting week 8 of 12/12 how much longer do you guys and girls think i have to go?

I have led lights and I feel as if they started to burn the leaves. Are your lights pointed on the leaves, or around them;angled up)

So do trichomes still change after harvest until the branch dies off and drys out,if I chop down at half amber half cloudy then might it become more like 60/40?

After the trichome is fully amber in color, the THC starts to degrade. This makes it very important to harvest marijuana at the time before a majority of the trichomes have attained a total amber color. If not, the marijuana will not be as potent as it could have been.

On your first harvest, if you are having a hard time judging when to cut the plants down, a good rough guide as to when to harvest a plant is to wait until 50%-80% of the white pistils (hairs) have turned dark (usually brown or red) and about 10% of the trichomes start to turn amber.


more of the trichomes will amber after chopping hanging and drying , dont miss the boat
