Small odor problem

Hey guys, just finished up my first grow not too long ago. Buds are curing in jars right now. I am planning my next grow and had a quick question about carbon scrubbers.

I have a 2x4x6 tent and a 6" carbon scrubber and fan. I have the fan hooked to a controller and its basically turned all the way down. During the last 5 weeks or so the smell could be detected slightly on some days a bit heavier on others. I also have some ona block pro gel about 10 foot from the tent but it didnt seem to help.

Could I have to big of a scrubber for my setup?

carbon filters are not that efficient when you turn the fan way down .

if you want to keep some very low vent/negative pressure it's better to have a small fan+scrubber just for that, you'll get more life out of the equipment also .

Yeah I am going to get the 4 inch setup for my next grow and see how it does, I believe the 6 is too big for this tent
