Hi guys, just here to do a quick update on what's happening with my indoor/outdoor growing

So far, in my seedling/veg room, I have 3 seedlings and 1 early vegging Blue Blood plant. The tiniest seedling is a Red Cherry Berry moved in yesterday and just sticking its head above the soil today, shell hasn't popped off but if it doesn't I will claw it off
the other two seedlings are somewhat stunted Corleone Kush sprouts, but I think they'll make it just fine.

I also dropped one OG Kush Private Reserve bean in water today (their own outstanding cross of OG genetics that they've kept for years - like no OG I've ever had before, amazing stuff!) seed I got out of a bud from the Greenest Green in Boulder. I honestly can't wait to grow this bud and maybe even breed it...
AND I also dropped a feminized Chronic X Northern Lights bean in water today (the freebie I got from ordering my Blue Blood)....

...also still waiting for my second Blue Blood bean (in paper towel now) to get a long enough taproot to transplant into soil.

In other news, my ghetto fabulous clone dome got attacked by spider mites, the 2 euphoria clones and 1 BBK clone in there are not looking good. I drenched them in Neem Oil and I see no more moving mites, but they definitely did some damage while I wasn't keeping a close eye on things, the clones might die although now they are all showing their first small roots. I may need to go get some new clones off my outdoor plants.

Outside all the girls are doing great. BBK and the second Bonsai Lucy will be coming down tomorrow or the day after (I mean it this time!) because I think the trichomes are optimal (it looks like shes dipped in sugar!) and also because the purpling is going slowly. I think the Black Domina/Black Dahlia/Black Russian (it could be any of these crossed with Bubba now that I've looked deeper into Black Bubba Kush genetics) is fighting off the purpling because of its sativa/skunk genetics.

The order got messed up for my memory card for my digital camera -.- I'm getting so annoyed lol... 8 pics at a time is getting old.... oh well. Maybe I'll get some pics later on today, we'll see

I also am finally getting around to finishing up my flowering room. Slowly lol. But it's getting done. The Mars II 1600 is up at least haha.

Oh wow!! I actually thought I killed this little Ghost OG seed, so I wasn't even going to mention it, but lo and behold, my only Ghost OG seed, sprouted!! Make that 4 sprouts in the veg room!!! I'm going to have lots of OG genetics going if all goes according to plan can't wait.

OK, screw it, a 3rd branch has snapped on BBK (first was my dad watering, second was me hand training) because I tripped and dropped the whole container she was in, luckily I was quick and only one branch got snapped. I'm harvesting today lol no more messing around.

This is BBK, at the bottom you can see the latest snapped branch >.< she's not gonna win any POTM hahah.

But I won't give up on her for NOTM ... you can see how frosty she is in some of these pics and also see the progress of purpling

And this is Bonsai Lucy #2. She didn't fill out much, but smells great and has lots of cloudy and amber trichs!

Oh just for that a cameo is coming up lol. Uhm in the last few nights there was 48 degrees, 52 degrees, and 54 degrees. I only remember that because I've been interested in the temperature vs. purpling effects too and have been keeping an eye on it lol. thanks for coming by Ants! You're always welcome.

End of first round harvest update!
All chopped and washed except 4 branches of BBK because I still am figuring out just how necessary my budwashing is, and how it effects flavor/smell. Here's the group shots from BBK and Lucy Bonsai #2

And I just thought I'd take this chance to take a look in the veg room.
The one in the back left is a newly introduced Euphoria clone as of earlier today, after it was drenched in Neem Oil and sprayed with MGIS for spider mites. The largest plant is Blue Blood

This is Ghost OG, popped in out of the dead today, say hi everyone and hope she/he stays around!

This is Corleone Kush #1, whose first two cotyledons both died and stunted him/her:

This is the younger Corleone Kush #2, who only had one cotyledon die... So I think it's stunt won't be as bad.

And this is Red Cherry Berry, still in the seed, but yesterday she was under the soil now shes sticking above it a little. I hope tomorrow she shows her face

Hahahah I think the same to myself often. My grandpa, my dad, and his brothers all let this place fall apart for 20 years. >.< I'm slowly trying to piece it back together, with my mom when she's around. This is actually my grandparent's old house. This is where my grandma died and my grandpa grew so old he has to wear binoculars and tape speakers to his ears to watch football now lol (and I'll be damned if he doesn't every Sunday and Monday night!)... I think my grandpa is 98 as of now :O he's coming a bit unscrewed if you know what I mean. He walks with a cane, but uses the cane more like an escrima sparring stick than anything else LOL. He was an ace fighter pilot and Colonel in WW2, and don't ever presume to open a door for him or you'll have a bruise to show for it like my Dad bahahaha.... geesh.. my family is crazy.

Thank you bee I've been spending lots of time sitting with the babies. I love when they're itty bitty seedlings... so cute lol ... Ghost OG and RCB have their cotyledons open and their first serrated leaves growing now Happy skunkday!!

It really does haha. But a budtender told me once that it being that cold can degrade the trichomes or something >.< so unless it turns purple naturally, as tempting as it is, I should avoid using temps that low just for the color change.

Temps below 40 are coming this week at night, so I'm going to need to start bringing the new outdoor plants inside for the night... I may need to move them into the flowering room for the last few weeks of flowering. oh well. Good thing my flowering room is empty

Aw Ants! You're too kind. And guess what. While my dad still does drink >.< (and now he has a doctor throwing hydrocodone at him, -.-) he hasn't drank for a few days and just vaporized my buds with me. Baby steps lol.

Thanks Corgie! I'm happy with the BBK, but that Bonsai Lucy was so spidery. It, Juicy Lucy, and Mama didn't turn out so well. But that's why they're all going to heavily donate to my hash-trim fund lol.

I jarred up Mini Mama yesterday, and she is such a better version of her mama.. oddly enough she has a little smell of Romulan to her. That heavy, musky, moldy smell. But there's also light lemon tones and a little hashy, afghani smell. It has a sweet sourness to the taste out of the EQ, she's no Euphoria but I'm happy with this smoke.
Its not tip top shelf, but not low either. I vaped 2 bags so far this morning of her, and it's a strong but not overpowering head high with a mild body stone. The head high isn't very clear either lol, this isn't the most active weed, but it's very relaxing.

I'm happy with how its curing.... I didn't stuff this jar at all, just dropped nugs in until it was full.... obviously it's good enough buds LOL, since it has me rambling ....

Hi everyone, going to be starting my new indoor grow journal whenever I get enough free time to do an in depth start to it, I'll keep you guys posted on that.

Ugh, as far as everything else I have a little sad news. the second blue blood I was trying to sprout looks like it didn't make it... and on top of that... when I was just about to transplant it into soil, I dropped the Northern Lights x Chronic seed I was germinating into a drain in my garage >.< -.- >.< *slaps myself in the face* ..... But, at least that OG Kush bean from the Greenest Green's Private Reserve that I was raving about made it, and popped its head out of soil today.

So to make up for the lost plants, I decided to drop a final bean in some water. I picked a DinaFem Diesel seed since I realized I don't have any sativas indoors yet that was another seed donated by a friend here I have one more left in case this one doesn't make it, but so far so good, I saw that the seed popped open a little and a tap root started so I moved the seed to a paper towel in a ziplock baggy on top of my trusty DVR heatpad just a little while ago lol

Outdoor all the plants are finally well into starting flowering. for the mean time they're happy outside, but as the nights get colder and the days cool down too, they're going to need to come inside. At first only for the nights, but I have a feeling midway into November I may need to bring them into the flowering room for good. Today I cut a bunch of low growth on the Lucy and Mama reveg plants, lollipopping my way up until there were only a few nodes left up top. I'm hoping this will prevent any popcorn, I'm tired of popcorn after their original parents >.< I also defol'ed pretty heavily.. I think they can take it, and that it was very necessary since there were so many nodes not getting any light penetration.

That's all thats going on here really.... besides that outdoors we're starting a leaf pile, a waste compost pile, a garden compost pile, and an indoor worm bin lol. Hopefully this will make us more efficient and renewable

Add light to that drain stat! haha , that sucks.. try and make light of the situation.

i havent read up on it, but i seen Kingjohn mention in another journal that adding heat (heat pad) to seeds , seems to result in male plants. not sure if this has been your case since you have 100% female seed ratio. just thought id let you know that i seen Kjc mention it.

Cannabis is a type of plant that's male to female germination rate is partially temperature dependent. I would not use a heat source when germinating cannabis seeds.
