So bit of a hectic day with family over, I tire very quickly socialising (I know I sound very dull, I enjoy it but it takes a lot out of me to be social).

Got to spend half hour in my shed before lights out time. Girls are doing good, starting to get more bulky (yay)

On another note my VG & PG arrived today as I decided to make a VG extract using (my wife's) crock pot (so I best not fuck it up lol), and I got some flavourings Inc Strawberry cheese cake which I'll mix in with the pure VG extract which will be for my mother to take orally for pain relief.

I'll then mix in PG to my batch to vape it as PG will thin it out more making it more vapable than pure VG.

I'll let you guys know how that goes lol I plan on using the trimmings once dry to do the first batch whilst I'm waiting for buds to cure I altleast have some meds to be using.

Haha, well I vape normally anyway, have done for last 6-years since giving up smoking. So vaping to me is a good way to go. If I smoke then I only smoke pure weed I don't mix with tobacco.

Anyway, so there's really 2 main ways of making weed vape juice.

1. Is to extract using Everclear Alcohol, the pro of this is that the finished product is stronger. But Everclear is expensive to buy & there's more risks involved when making it, specially if your like me and can't cook lol

The second method is the one I've gone for which is to make it using VG extract which is the main ingredient in ejuice. But you can take it orally too. (Don't take orally once mixed with PG!)

There's tonnes of guides online. The most in-depth guides I've found is:

Once you've made the oil, you then mix it with VG & PG to make it vapable.

However they missed out one very important step!! Before you go ahead and make it, you must decarb it in the oven, this explains why:

Although VG won't be as strong, it's cheaper to buy, safer to make and goes further. So it was a clear choice for me.

You can vape pure VG but I intent to dilute it further by adding PG which thins it out and makes it easier to vape as VG is a very thick liquid. I'll prob mix it so it's 70% VG & 30% PG but others mix 50/50. You wouldn't want less VG than 50%

Hey guys & girls

Now starting week 8 of flower. Humidity is great and holding steady at 35%!

Girls are doing ok but Mary has got a bit of light burn so have lifted the led up higher! (18 inches now instead of 13-inches). My bad, I've moved her under the mars more to give her a break from the more powerful light.

Ah that's great to know thankyou I shall becareful. I noticed some amber a week or so ago.

Thanks mate, I think there doing well although a little disappointed there not fatter but I guess it's the genetics.

I'm not sure how much longer to give them, breeder says 9-weeks? What do you think?

They are CBD heavy. I waited till all the hairs where compacted pretty tight and all orange.

I never did see any Amber on my better Candida or the fully seeded little one

Yet probably pretty close, maybe start flushing soon

Yeh I was thinking of starting to flush this week so there next feed onwards. I have been cutting down on the amount of nuts this week in prep.

So basically right about where u are

I looked at yer cola, looks just like mine did

I'd flush and harvest her in a week ish

Yer Gunna love the smoke

Ohhh exciting! Long as I don't fuck up the drying and curing lol although got everything ready for it.

Will start flushing .. quite glad there finishing as it's very cold weather I'm having to use the oil heater more than I'd like and that eats electric!

I have a couple of Candida seeds so will Inc 1 of them in my next grow although hoping to grow them outdoors.

I also got a CBD Critical cure as they have a lot of good reviews & a Purple granddaddy (which was a freebie) but there meant to be good for anti anxiety, plus a VCDC by Moxie seeds which is the nearest to ACDC I could get here.

Not sure I'll grow them all at once outdoors as I may have a issue with smell control lol

Your so lucky to get ACDC! Let alone a male! I'd actually like to get a male ACDC then cross it with a Candida. Which in theory should provide a super high CBD plant.

Hey just wondering if someone can help me out with some Math. Planning on using trim to make a batch of VG but just want to get the ratio right.

Sooooo

Trim is about half as potent as bud in theory so I need to use twice as much.

Figured I'd do a small tester patch first so not to waste anything.

My math is as follows:

So 25-gram of trim to 200ML of VG

Add 50% PG into bottles makings each bottle 350MG (3.5%) strength CBD approx. (1-Gram of bud is 1000MG CBD, so let's say the trim is 2-gram=1000MG CBD. If using normal bud I'd only need 14/15 grams)

Ratio trim 1-8 VG.

Here's how I plan on making it:

Trim into dish cover dish with baking bag cover or aluminium foil to protect trim

Decarb in oven for 1-1/2 hours at 315F.

Once decarbed allow to sit for half hour whilst I warm the crockpot

Put trim into crockpot with 200ML of VG (Maybe bit more to allow for mistakes/burn off).

the crock pot to "low" for approximately 30 min and stir regularly (every five minutes or so).

Then warm setting for 12-20 hours, stirring occasionally but vigorously.

Let it cool for an hour, then strain into separate pot.

Then put into glass dropper bottles.

Mix in PG, may try 50/50 or 70VG/30PG. Making it a bit stronger.

If my math is incorrect please tell me!

Any input would be great!

I don't know if trim is half as potent as bud. I think (might be wrong) that there is a lot of THC/CBD concentrated in stalks and branches.

The way you're doing it sounds about right. My mate does this bit for me, I'm seeing him tomorrow, will show him your plan and see what he says?
