I'm glad to post my first grow journal. I hope to entertain you
A Little Intro

What strain is it?

- 3x Special Kush #1, 3x Mazar, 1 Unknown strain

Is it Indica, Sativa or Hybrid? What percentages?

- Special Kush & Mazar are mostly Indica

Is it in Veg or Flower stage?

- Vegetative

If in Veg... For how long?

- 12 days from sprout

Indoor or outdoor?

- Indoor

Soil or Hydro?

- Soil

If soil... what is in your mix?

- 80% BioBizz All Mix - 20% Coco

If soil... What size pot?

- Currently in 3,5l pots, gonna put them in 12l soon

Size of light?

- 2x75 Secret Jardin Neon (1x9000k-1x6500k)

Is it aircooled?

- Yes

Temp of Room/cab?

- 25°C

RH of Room/cab?

- always around 60%

PH of media or res?

- 6.5/7

How often are you watering?

- 3-4 days

Type and strength of ferts used?

- Just used B'Cuzz Rapid Rooter (Wortel), gonna use BioNova Soil Supermix + X-cel for veg.

What happened to this young kush? i tried to do a little fert at 1/4 strong...the soil was too much dry i think that's the problem...anyway she's responding well..

They look good! Why are you mixing coco with soil though?

i did a mix because of the high EC ( 2,4 ) of the soil... to avoid any burn.
it is working very well, the drainage is superb!
anyway that sp. Kush is getting bigger even if its damaged..

Ok that makes sense. Have you tried 100% coco? I think you might like it more! It's what I grow in. Absolutely would never go back to soil, ever ever ever lol..

I am not using coco I'm in 100% perlite to flower in, but 420farmer is right soil-less rocks! That being said my mothers are still in soil...

I will try coco in my next grow as it is cheaper than soil...how about coco fert? same or similar to hydro?

There are coco specific ferts, but you use soil ferts. I use fox farm trio liquid nutes

Hi all,
what do you think is happened to this special kush? the cotyledons are yellowing but the growth is still nice.
the other two are doing good, but she is the biggest so dont want to lose her.
any advice would be helpful.

Is that the same one that you think you might have over ferted?

Mine did the same thing. Didn't seem to cause any problems

I dont think is overfert but maybe underwatering as i water only when first leaves are drooping.

Hi all.

The two stunted (almost white leaf lol and some distortion):

Im updating today because of the deficiencies that i have dealt with, created by a ph issue. Now i think they have been healed up, all the new growth is doing good, and the 2 stunted girls are growing too. Anyway that Special Kush #1 from RoyalQueenSeeds have not good genetics as i tought: 2 of 3 were stunted early at 6 ph and the other is so sensible to defs.
If someone can give me any advice i'd be grate.

Why mix soil with coco? 100 percent coco is the way to go! But good lookin plants
