Spraying mites close to harvest?

I don't have full infestation, but I do have some mites on 30% leaves, two different kinds. (round & clear with random black spots, longer ones that are whitish in color). I am 1-2 weeks from harvest. Trichomes are mostly milky. My questions;

1. Should I spray with neem this close to harvest? I know the taste will be affected so should I delay harvest until smell goes away? will the smell go away while drying/curing?

2. Neem full strength or diluted.? How much diluted.
3. Will this damage trichomes?
4. Should I trim fan leaves and spray buds instead?

if your that close to harvest just trim off the fan leaves to get rid of most, i would get some lady bugs and turn them loose on the plants
