Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

IHG Slurricane day 41 of flips... She's going to finish around 48 days, but is supposed to go 56-70 from breeder. I don't know if it's due to the details specific to this run or not, as others are also finishing quick. Something to ponder. Smell is berry fruit, flint, sweet pine, skunk, with hints of chocolate.

Trichs are mostly cloudy, with just a few amber so she's close. Lots of photos, so I'm just dumping them all. :) There's a few without flash, she's got some great color.

She is a fine subject! Wish I ran a couple more beans to see what else is in there, but competition for flower space is pretty stiff. Very lucky man, I ain't complaining ;) :Namaste:

I feel like I neglected to post her up, as I wasn't that excited about her....just another frost monster that I would barely smoke lol. But, I tried her, and found some interest there, so yeah - I'm more excited to see how she cures. Will definitely be nightime smoke haha ;) The SSH is daytime playtime smoke. Summer is coming!

Thanks J! She's got a bit of Punch lol. I had heard of Purple Punch crosses throwing weak smoke. I don't think that's the case with this individual, she's got a decent hit so far, and she's not fully baked yet :)

Thanks B, they are pretty dam good all around. SSH F2 Sativa pheno is fading the most delicious shade of yellow/green. I though of you when I saw her today, she's just perfect for about 10-14 pull, the yellow pushing the green out. Stink is huge, and the buds are already bombs. The Slurry will yield big too, she's swelling hard. The Chem is getting the down low lingering skunk smell now, riding on a peppery burnt tire and anise perfume.

I haven't really taken many pics of the ECSD, considering that she's an all time fave of mine. Reason being is that the source alerted me to an uncertainty of authenticity of the clone, before even having it delivered. I won't go into the details, but after noticing no stretch on this soil run, and more running style buds, instead of bubbly calyxes, I was starting to get a bit wonderous, even if I really wanted it to be the real deal. Lots of traits line up, but there are a few things that don't. Coincidentally, my friend also was in touch tonight to tell me he grew it out, and that it wasn't the true cut. It's an unknown for now Diesel, possible the #1. Anyway, ecsd is supposed to be on the way for late Spring, early summer. It's OK. For now, I'll just call this one Deez. Yeah, it's a little bit of a bummer, but I trust that the SD mom will be here sooner or later. And this cut looks seriously productive, and it's definitely related, she's got something special for sure. :Namaste::cool:

I might plant a few seeds this year but nothing big since there is no real market to get rid of it in my area.

And on a side note, you should really toss up a shot from your latest crop in the photo of the month contest, you got some real beauties that good definitely take top honors. :yummy: Just a thought!:surf:

I have one buddy that would smoke Punch exclusively if he could. If her crosses are doen right they will keep the Punch frost and smell and add potency and taste. Everyone that has tried my Slurricane likes it, the wife just likes the 9# Hammer and the Purple Punch S1 better.
 
The slurricane is pretty, but the D looks greasy AF! I like it!

I feel the same. She's gorgeous, but the D is fucking legend. Even grown marginally, she'll knock your socks off. I can't wait for this one to finish. I have a good sized one ready to go in her place. :)
 
So I was thinking that she was in this 5 gallon round for a couple of weeks, so longer than ideal without being flowered. I like 5gal so they dry faster, but I had to weigh the costs and benefits. New soil will help, and she kinda prefers wet feet anyway. I'll just have to water her with no runoff until she fills the pot. She did get a good watering in.

I whacked her back hard right after this photo. She will be read to flower in 7 days. Hell yeah.

The round pots are 5gal, the square ones are ... you guessed it, also 5gal lol. They are easily as big as 7's. Love gro-pro pots
 
OK, today is day 55 for most of these girls. The SSH-Indica is looking like she's throwing some amber, and doesn't look like she will swell much more, so I'm going to pull as soon as she's reasonably dry. Testers taste great already, and she faded a bit, so I'm happy enough with her. BIG trichs, real nice smoke from fresh pulls. Vegged about 6 weeks if anyone is curious. I've been taught that hazebrids need to be run again to see where they will really be as a breeder or kept genetic, as the second run often has substantial variation from the first. I am running through a lot of SSH F2's to learn what this plant has to offer in hybrid crosses. Any-who, we are in harvest mode.. :)

Looks like SSH-Indica pheno tonight. Slurricane at the end of the week, then the D mid-week next, and the now purpling SSH-Sativa around the same time. Some much needed fresh headies in the house. :yahoo:
