I started my plant inside and it was going strong. I did some bending to get more areas for colas. Since it’s been nice the last month I started putting it outside. Now it’s an outdoor plant and I noticed that it hasn’t much bigger and the heat is starting to curl up the leaves. Would it be a bad idea to bring it back indoors even though the light cycle will be messed up?

If you can control the environment indoors and give it substantial light it will flourish. The advantage of being outside is all the free, high quality light, but if it's very hot and dry, the plant will not be able to fully utilize the light. Bringing it indoors where it is cooler and you can control the humidity will help growth alot. But if you can't provide alot of light indoors then she won't grow very fast, she will look healthier tho.
