Stems are always purple in veg

My plants seem to be growing good
Under 330 watts of T5 feeding Flora Nova quarter strength
I water when dry about every 5 days
The stems always start out green and turn purple, In the past I have noticed due to too much light but I don’t think that’s it
I have been topping and training is it just stress and no need to worry?
Is this a lack of mag?
Any ideas?? Thanks so much

Could be the plant gene's ..they look beautiful! I personally would change nothing about what you are doing as long as you are indeed feeding her ... Namaste and good luck!

Yeah had same problem previous thought same that was light as I had 1 out door and one in tent cloned from same plant and was doing a bit of a experiment ne way same everything except climate
And lighting thought same as NH and might b plants genes but was still irritating so couldn't help myself so made a folliar with Epsom salts and that seemed to reduce it but yeah just tops of leave stems that seem to receive the most light is what turned red/ purple but in end gave up and left it youre pics look great n healthy

Thank you very much!! I am feeding just so scared to over feed and I think it resulted in small buds last run... gonna give them a bit more this time

I have a theory after reading through some posts here
Too much calcium can lock out mag it seems like
I use tap water that is 150 ppm to start off which could be a lot of calcium...
I have then added cal mag to try to give more mag but looking at the bottle it is 5% calcium and 1% mag which may just be making it worse, along with the 4% calcium in the Flora Nova... starting to seem obvious..
All this excess calcium locking out the mag and purpling stems...
I am going to give some Epsom salts on off feeding days and see if I notice any diff
Did a plain water flush last night and I think I am at a turning point
Keep y’all posted!!
Thanks for the help!!
