Strange looking buds

My cherry pie is looking kinda strange to me. I did find a few bananas on the lower small buds but the top is definitely different. It's been flowering for over a month now, 12 12 . , and stared to restart on one of her tops. the seed came from Pacific seed bank, she shares the tent with a few others that look normal to me. Lights are budgetled . Take a look any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hell yeah brother you made it ,,,,,, here is some active members that are not afraid to share some good advice , they will all most likely get back to you tomorrow ,,, awesome quality photos, good photos go along way here hopefully they can shed some advice as to what's going on here , could be foxtails, genetics , I honestly don't know @Nunyabiz @dick23rk @DutchinAB @Grand Daddy Black @Bill284

I think it might be a light cycle issue. Like a bit of a reveg problem. It’s disguised a little bit because of the heavy Indica leaf structure but that would be my best guess. When plants get confused about their light cycle the buds they produce are usually not as developed

was thinking the same Weasel . , reveg, foxtail and maybe just maybe pollinated top pods , seed sacs forming
broken timer ?

How is your 12 hr dark period. Any leaks.

Awesome comments guys, I know he doesn't have any light leaks and the other plants that he had in the tent are definitely girls and have not been pollinated , I don't think this is a reveg or timer issues , he is an experienced grower with alot of awesome frosty grows under his belt I know from a social media platform and I kinda pushed him to come check out 420 , I know he separated the plant from the other girls in the tent , and it looks very indica dominant so I don't think its doing weird sassy sativa things? Have you ever touched a male plant somewhere else or something @420mechanicgrower ? And like nunya said the single leafs do remind me of a reveg , and the nanners make me think light leak or timer issues , but the other girls in the tent look 100% girly and happy , hmm I hate saying this because it's like saying I don't know but maybe genetics? What do you guys think ??? How hott does it get in your tent brother? Details friend we are going to help you trouble shoot this frosty weirdo!!!!!

No light leaks. Stress of another kind?? Light too close? Not fed properly?
Heat? As the others are fine could be straight up genetics. Some girls aren't stable enough to make it through flower.

Yes it reminds me of how some land race sativas don't really finish up but this thing looks very indica dominant ,,,,,, no stress of any kind that I know of , he has grown many plants before , I think he lives in a really hott area so I'm curious how hott it gets in the tent ,,,, hopefully he comes back to 420 today and can fill in more details brother Bill ,,,, he has some awesome photos and grows so hopefully he sticks around 420

As far as being close to the lights , heat , or humidity, and feedings she gets the same nutrition, water , PH , PPM as the others . If anything she is 8 or 10 inches away from the lights ,(she is kinda short always been a runt in the tent) you guy have great advice and I appreciate the feedback. I swapped her last night with another one. These are the others I have in the tent. Grand daddy purple and meatbreath/sorbet and a random.

And this was the last harvest in the same tent same nutrition, only difference is I added one more light this go , this was my night nurse, . She did really good. So I think I have this. I'm guessing it's just that plant. I'll keep an eye on her.. she smells soooo pine like , kinda excited to she how she finishes. Thanks again for the advice.

Amazing girls my friend.

Is it from seed or a clone? I wasn’t really implying a light leak or timer malfunction. I’ve had several strains that are very sensitive to losing the plot and getting confused after being cloned. I can’t even put my finger on exactly why they have trouble staying in veg mode. Maybe it would be better if I had my veg room on 24 hour lighting.

I just know that certain plants will get confused at the drop of a hat and start taking on a reveg sort of look.

Anytime I have a plant in veg which is not showing its full complement of leaf blades, is growing in a funny shape (usually with a single stalk and limited branching) and has a lot of extra hairs on it, I do not flower it. I keep it in veg until it starts showing a proper number of leaf blades.

Otherwise when I flower it it’s just weird.

I’ve actually got several Critical + clones in veg that are like that now. It may take months for them to straighten out. If they don’t start growing normally soon I might just toss them. My Chocolope was extremely prone to this problem as well.

kick the light sched down to 11/13 or 10/14.

depending on genetics it looks to be having a hard time switching. long running sativas can do something similar if they are iffy at 12/12.

edit : depending on how long they've gone you may have to bite it and reveg deeper before flowering again. you'll get nuts monsters though. if they are going hermie though it may not work out so well.

Looks like the top flowers are pollinated to me
This ^^^^ pretty early for retracting pistols and the flowers look pregnant.

Got some nice frostage.

Prolly nanner issue there. Always got that with that strain.

Need to keep the btm 1/3 of the plant cleaned up.

If this is regarding light - 10 to 12" is a little close for full power (not sure where you sit). I would try to get it at least 16" away at full power.

Looking at the plant, looks like a genetics thing to me. If its throwing nanners, I would chop and plop that thing in compost personally.

This is what too much light looks like. 1,500 ppfd and no extra CO2. Yes I did this on purpose. I purposely did it to see if any of my 6 plants herm. None did.
