Superfresh89's First Grow & Tent Setup: GSC & OGesus In Coco

Hey guys, just started my first ever grow... Always been interested in growing but did not want to until post-legalization. I did about a month of research, followed by another month of DIY and setting up my grow tent. I'll get a humidity reading when I get home but temps run 70-80F when the lights are on, and 55-65 with the lights off. The fan is set to the lowest setting and is set to turn on only when the lights are on

Fusion Breath 6" in-line fan
Fusion Breath 400mm carbon air filter
Canna Coco A+B (going to try GH Maxibloom once I run out)

I germinated 3 seeds for my first grow:

1x Girl Scout Cookies Auto Fem by FastBuds

OG Kush x Durban Poison x Ruderalis
Auto Flowering Hybrid
Flowering time: 8-9 weeks
Harvest: XL
Height: up to 40 inches
THC: Very High, CBD: Low

2x OGesus Auto Fem by Expert Seeds

OG Kush x White Dwarf x Ruderalis
Auto Flowering Sativa
Flowering time: ~60 Days
Yield: 400-700 g/m2
THC: 19%

Nice setup. Those should be some happy plants. If I was you I’d try to further control the room temperature. That’s a lot of fluctuations in temp ideally I like to keep it in a5-7* window.

Thanks! I think my temps are actually closer to what you recommend. I'll keep an eye on them as the high/low readings on my thermometer were from before I had the fan set up.

Nice now make sure to keep the plug warm and lightly moist. Those general hydroponic rapid rooter hold 10x there weight in water. There for could drown the little sproughts quick. The light will allow them to focus on root development instead of growing tall I vogue my plugs a few drops of water around the base of the plus. And allow the moisture to wick it’s way up to the roots. And

Day 2

Here is one of them 24 hours after planting the Rapid Rooters into 5G fabric pots. Lights were 36" away. I moistened the coco with pH'd water with no nutrients.

One of the seedlings got all tangled up inside the Rapid Rooter. I had to rip apart the plug to set her free. It was also trapped inside its inner seed shell (see image below), so I moistened the shell and carefully removed it with my fingers.

Day 4

Seems like I may have mixed up the plants when I was transplanting.. can I tell just based on the leaves? Are the two images below different strains? I had them labelled as both OGesus...

Fed them with 1/4 strength Canna Coco A+B. Two of them looking quite happy with a bit of stretch. Lowered the lights to ~25".

The one that was stuck in its shell seems a little stunted compared to the other two, but has finally emerged.

Moved the light a little closer. Approx 20" away now. Second set of leaves are starting to develop.

They were looking great over the weekend but one of them started to develop brown spots on the leaves .. I'll take a pic later today, hoping you guys know what's wrong. Here's one from Saturday (Day 8) for now.

One of the seedlings were heavily stunted and I ended up taking her out of the tent.

Day 13: looking a little droopy, not sure what's up.. I raised the lights and added Cal-Mag to my feeding.

Day 22: girls looking much bigger; one of them seems to have some sort of deficiency.. still feeding at quarter strength Canna with Cal-Mag. I think I will increase to half strength at next feeding

Day 34 update:

Both girls looking happy now... Significantly more growth and leaves are looking nice and green again after supplementing with Cal-Mag. Pic quality is not great (lights were off).

Day 38

Lots of growth in the last 4 days. Seeing a bit of "clawed" tips on the right plant... Guessing I put too much nutes as I increased the feed this week. Will go back down to 40ml each of A+B per 5G water.

Supercropped the main cola on the taller plant... It was tower over everything else. Just bent it over to the corner of the tent. Increasing to 60ml each of the Canna Coco A+B this week.
